Abstract
At this time global warming has reached a critical stage so it is important to use renewable energy, Waves are a form of renewable energy that can be utilized and will not run out like fossil energy. In this study, the design of marine building structures for Ocean Wave Energy Converter (KEGS) devices was carried out using the VDI 2222 method. This method begins with the planning process to produce the product and its technical demands are regular until the completion process. After knowing the value of the Alternative Combination Function (AFK) that AFK II has the highest percentage value in the aspects of technical and economic assessment, the next step is the embodiment of the design in the specification of the KEG layout engineering drawing form. The design results of the KEG device were obtained with the dimensions of total height: 5.00 m; Width: 1.5 m; and Length:1.5 m. The trial was carried out at Tanjung Pasir Beach on November 12-13, works optimally to withstand the dynamic load of sea waves and is able to become a supporting component of the Wave Energy Conversion device machine at a maximum sea depth of 3.00 meters with waves as high as 1.5 meters. Keywords: Wave Energy Converter; method VDI 2222; KEGS building structures; Alternative Combination Functions; engineering drawing KEG Pada saat ini pemanasan global sudah mencapai tahap kritis sehingga penting menggunakan energi terbarukan, Gelombang termasuk salah satu bentuk energi terbarukan yang dapat dimanfaatkan serta tidak akan habis seperti energi fosil. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan struktur bangunan laut bagi perangkat Konverter Energi Gelombang Segara (KEGS) dengan menggunakan metode VDI 2222. Pada metode ini diawali dengan proses perencanaan untuk menghasilkan produk beserta tuntutan teknisnya teratur sampai dengan proses penyelesaian.. Hasil perancangan perangkat KEG diperoleh dengan dimensi Tinggi total: 5,00 m; Lebar: 1,5 m; dan Panjang:1,5 m. Uji coba dilakukan di Pantai Tanjung Pasir pada tanggal 12-13 November 2022, struktur perangkat KEGS bekerja secara optimal dapat menahan beban dinamis dari terpaan gelombang laut dan mampu menjadi komponen pendukung mesin perangkat Konversi Energi Gelombang pada kedalaman laut sea level maksimal 3,00 meter dengan gelombang setinggi 1,5 meter. Setelah mengetahui nilai Alternatif Fungsi Kombinasi (AFK) bahwa AFK II memiliki nilai persentase yang paling tinggi pada aspek penilaian teknis senilai 66% dan ekonomis senilai 65%, langkah selanjutnya adalah perwujudan desain dalam spesifikasi bentuk layout engineering drawing KEGS.
