Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Leadership Behaviour on Employee Performance as mediated by Work Engagement. The population of this study were the employees of HR & GA Division at PT XYZ, with total sample were 82 employees. Data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS with the help of SmartPLS version 3.3.3 software for Windows). The results showed that Leadership Behaviour had a positive but no significant direct effect on Employee Performance. However, Leadership Behaviour had a positive and significant effect on Work Engagement and Work Engagement had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Therefore, indirectly the Leadership Behaviour positively and significantly affects the Employee Performance through the mediatiating role of Work Engagement. Keyword: Leadership Behaviour, Work Engagement, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Perilaku Kepemimpinan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan yang dimediasi oleh Keterlibatan Kerja. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan Divisi HR & GA PT XYZ, dengan jumlah sampel 82 karyawan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS dengan bantuan software SmartPLS versi 3.3.3 for Windows). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perilaku Kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan; Namun, Perilaku Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keterlibatan Kerja dan Keterlibatan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Oleh karena itu secara tidak langsung Perilaku Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan melalui peran mediasi Keterlibatan Kerja.
