Abstract

The development of information technology is now running very fast and plays an important role. The development of Information Technology is one of software. Software is a product that does not materialize, so it requires knowledge of making good and efficient software. Point of sale is an activity oriented to sales and a system that helps the transaction process. With a point of sale system, a large amount of data or information that can be processed quickly and precisely in one digital data center so that time savings can be made. The problem that occurs is the company does not yet have a standard point of sales software and the application features are not available for product returns, and if the product runs out the store has to manually register the product request and send by the warehouse to send the required product, party finance also cannot see sales results in realtime. The system designed will facilitate the process of buying, selling, and inventory returns and sales report. For the development of the system using the waterfall method. The making of this application program uses the PHP programming language, MySQL database, Apache web server, and PhpStorm as an application development software. After this application is made it is expected to increase the productivity and effectiveness of company . Key words: Point of Sales, Transactions, Waterfall Perkembangan teknologi informasi sekarang berjalan sangat cepat serta memegang peran penting. Perkembangan teknologi informasi salah saturnya adalah perangkat lunak. Perangkat lunak merupakan produk tidak terwujud sehingga dibutuhkan pengetahuan membuat perangkat lunak yang baik dan efisien. Point of sale merupakan kegiatan yang berorientasi pada penjualan serta sistem yang membatu proses transaksi. Dengan sistem point of sale, data atau informasi yang beraneka ragam dalam jumlah yang besar pun dapat diolah dengan cepat dan tepat dalam satu pusat data digital sehingga penghematan waktu dapat dilakukan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah perusahaan belum memiliki software point of sales standart dan fitur diaplikasi tersebut tidak ada untuk pengembalian produk, dan apabila produk habis pihak toko harus list manual permintaan produk dan mengirimkan oleh pihak Gudang untuk mengirimkan produk yang dibutuhkan, pihak keuangan juga tidak bisa melihat hasil penjualan secara realtime. Sistem yang dirancang akan memfasilitasi proses pembelian, penjualan, persediaan serta pengembalian dan laporan penjualan. Untuk pengembangan sistemnya menggunakan metode waterfall. Pembuatan program aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, web server Apache, serta PhpStorm sebagai software pengembangan aplikasi. Setelah aplikasi ini dibuat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas dan efektifitas perusahaan. Kata kunci: Point Of Sales,Transaksi,Waterfall
