Abstract

In Indonesia, information and telecommunications technology is growing rapidly every year so that it makes a major contribution to the use of the internet network. To improve the quality and internet network, a router is needed to regulate the speed of internet traffic in the network so that the speed of internet sharing is evenly distributed for all internet network users. In this study, performance analysis in internet speed management is a queue tree with a mikrotik router. The analysis method used is Quality of Service (QoS) with parameters of delay, jitter, throughput and packet loss to determine the quality of the resulting network. The results of the QoS parameters obtained from using a queue tree with a simple queue comparison include: delay using a simple queue the delay value is 7.4 ms laptop 1 and 7.99 ms laptop 2. After using the queue tree the delay value is 7.2 ms laptop 1 and 7 ,64 ms laptop 2. Value of packet loss using queue simple 0 % laptop 1 and 0 % laptop 2, after using queue tree 0 % laptop 1 and 0 % laptop 2. Jitter value using queue simple 4
