Abstract
The design of the educational book “Happy berclodi” pertaining to modern cloth diapers serves as an informative tool for new mothers in Jakarta with the aim of educating them about transitioning to modern cloth diapers. Modern cloth diaper, also reffered to as cloth diapers or “clodi”, offer potentioal in mitigating the environmental pollution caused by disposable diapers. Due to their relatively affordable price compared to regular purchases of disposable diapers, the utilization of clodi proves to be more economical. Furthermore, clodi comprises materials that facilitate breathability for the infants skin. This design endeavour anticipates providing a viable solution to reduce the waste resulting from disposable diapers. Through this educational book, new mothers gain access to information regarding modern cloth diapers, while simultaneously encouraging, guiding, and educating the community to prioritize environmental and infant health by presenting a resolution to the requrements associated with disposable diapers that generate waste. Perancangan buku edukasi popok kain modern “Happy Berclodi” sebagai informasi untuk newmom di Jakarta berguna untuk mengedukasi para new mom agar beralih ke popok kain modern. Popok kain modern atau cloth diaper (Clodi) ini dapat membantu untuk mengurangi sampah popok sekali pakai yang mencemari lingkungan. Dengan harga yang relatif murah dibandingkan pembelian rutin popok sekali pakai ini, membuat pemakaian clodi jauh lebih hemat. Selain itu clodi memiliki bahan yang memberikan ruang bernafas bagi kulit bayi. Perancangan ini diharapkan menjadi sebuah solusi pengurangan sampah popok sekali pakai, karena melalui buku edukasi ini new mom mendapatkan informasi tentang popok kain modern, juga dapat menghimbau, mengarahkan , mengedukasi masyarakat untuk lebih memperhatikan kesehatan lingkungan dan kesehatan bayi dengan memberikan solusi terhadap kebutuhan popok sekali pakai yang dapat menimbulkan sampah.
