Abstract

This research aims to design a KIR Vehicle Inspection System Monitoring application using the Feature Driven Development (FDD) method for the Central Jakarta Transportation Agency. This web-based application has features for checking driver logs and generating comprehensive log reports to monitor driver compliance with KIR vehicle inspection regulations. Currently, the vehicle inspection process is still done manually, resulting in limited efficiency and slow data processing. The FDD method was chosen as a simple and easily understood approach to system development. This application will assist the Central Jakarta Transportation Agency in monitoring motor vehicle inspection data, issuing operating permits, and facilitating the management and monitoring of vehicle inspections. The utilization of this application will improve the efficiency of motor vehicle monitoring, expedite data processing, and enhance traffic safety and security. This research concludes that the web-based Vehicle Inspection System Monitoring application using the FDD method can improve the manual vehicle inspection process. This application can assist the Central Jakarta Transportation Agency in conducting periodic monitoring of motor vehicles, monitoring driver compliance, and efficiently managing and monitoring vehicle inspections. Keywords: KIR Vehicle Inspection System Monitoring, Feature Driven Development, motor vehicles, monitoring, compliance Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi Sistem Informasi Pemantauan KIR menggunakan metode Feature Driven Development (FDD) pada Dinas Perhubungan Jakarta Pusat. Aplikasi ini berbasis web dan memiliki fitur-fitur cek log driver dan report log keseluruhan untuk pemantauan kepatuhan pengemudi terhadap peraturan KIR. Saat ini, proses pemantauan KIR masih dilakukan secara manual, menyebabkan keterbatasan efisiensi dan pengolahan data yang lambat. Metode FDD dipilih sebagai pendekatan pengembangan sistem yang sederhana dan mudah dimengerti. Aplikasi ini akan membantu Dinas Perhubungan Jakarta Pusat dalam memonitor data KIR kendaraan bermotor, mengeluarkan izin layak operasi, serta mempermudah pengelolaan dan pemantauan KIR. Pemanfaatan aplikasi ini akan meningkatkan efisiensi pemantauan kendaraan bermotor, mempercepat pengolahan data, dan meningkatkan keselamatan serta keamanan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Sistem Informasi Pemantauan KIR berbasis web dengan metode FDD dapat memperbaiki proses pemantauan KIR yang masih manual. Aplikasi ini dapat membantu Dinas Perhubungan Jakarta Pusat dalam melakukan pemantauan berkala terhadap kendaraan bermotor, memantau kepatuhan pengemudi, dan meningkatkan pengelolaan serta pemantauan KIR secara efisien.
