Abstract

Communication in the current era has become a very important requirement, one of which is wireless network communication (Wi-Fi). The use of Wi-Fi can provide convenience in communicating anywhere as long as Wi-Fi access is available, whether in offices, homes, buildings, and others. The area of the building with room partitions has problems with weak Wi-Fi signal/frequency access, so a network analysis is needed to determine the quality of the wireless internet network. In this study, the performance measurement of the #DPR-RI-OPEN network was carried out in the Nusantara 1 DPR RI Building, with the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) parameter using the walk test method, the application used for the walk test method is the Wifi Analyzer. The measurement results in the form of a heatmap show the area covered by the #DPR-RI-OPEN WiFi network. Kata Kunci : walk test, RSSI, Performance. Komunikasi pada era sekarang telah menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat penting, salah satunya komunikasi jaringan nirkabel (Wi-Fi). Penggunaan Wi-Fi dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan komunikasi dimanapun selama tersedia akses Wi-Fi, baik di kantor, rumah, gedung, dan lain-lain. Luas gedung dengan partisi-partisi ruangan yang memiliki permasalahan adanya akses sinyal/ frekuensi Wi-Fi yang lemah sehingga diperlukan suatu analisis jaringan yang dapat mengetahui kualitas jaringan internet nirkabel. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran performansi jaringan #DPR-RI-OPEN yang terdapat pada Gedung Nusantara 1 DPR RI, dengan parameter RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) menggunakan metode walk test, aplikasi yang digunakan untuk metode walk test yaitu Wifi Analyzer. Hasil pengukuran berupa heatmap menunjukkan area yang terjangkau jaringan WiFi #DPR-RI-OPEN. Kata Kunci : Walk Test, RSSI, Performansi.
