Abstract

This research was conducted at a building equipment store, which is a branch of Mitra Utama Jakarta specializing in construction tools and equipment. The objective was to maintain the quality of service and products sold while reducing waste due to damaged goods. To address inventory management issues, sales data from the Mitra Utama Jakarta store were processed for a period of one year, from January 2022 to December 2022. The data consisted of 799 rows and 6 columns, including product names, SKUs, categories, gross revenue, units sold, and orders. Using the K-Means Clustering method, the research aimed to analyze sales patterns. The results of the K-Means Clustering with a DBI score of 0.454458180192587 and 4 clusters indicated that cluster 0 had 473 data points, cluster 1 had 52 data points, cluster 2 had 15 data points, and cluster 3 had 17 data points. Based on the findings, sales strategies can be proposed by leveraging the clustering results from transactional data at Mitra Utama Jakarta store. Keywords : Data Mining, K-Means, Clustering, Cluster Penelitian ini dilakukan di toko peralatan bangunan, sebuah toko dari Mitra Utama Jakarta yang bergerak dalam peralatan konstruksi bangunan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan dan produk yang dijual serta mengurangi produk yang terbuang akibat kerusakan. Dalam upaya mengatasi masalah manajemen persediaan produk, dilakukan pengolahan data penjualan toko Mitra Utama Jakarta selama 1 tahun, dari Januari 2022 hingga Desember 2022. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari 799 baris dan 6 kolom, mencakup nama produk, SKU, kategori, pendapatan bersih baru, produk terjual, dan pesanan. Dengan menggunakan metode Clustering K-Means, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola penjualan. Hasil dari Clustering K-Means dengan skor DBI sebesar 0.454458180192587 dan 4 cluster menunjukkan bahwa cluster 0 memiliki 473 data, cluster 1 memiliki 52 data, cluster 2 memiliki 15 data, dan cluster 3 memiliki 17 data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat diajukan strategi penjualan berdasarkan hasil klastering dari data transaksi toko Mitra Utama Jakarta. Kata Kunci : Data Mining, K-Means, Clustering, Cluster
