Abstract

Implementasi teknologi dan sistem informasi dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya di perguruan tinggi, memiliki daya tarik yang menarik bagi calon mahasiswa, mahasiswa aktif, dan unit pelayanan di perguruan tinggi. Perkembangan teknologi ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah dan meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan mahasiswa serta operasional unit pelayanan di perguruan tinggi. Salah satu bentuk perkembangan teknologi adalah pembuatan aplikasi konsultasi antara mahasiswa dan unit pelayanan kampus. Berdasarkan hasil survei dengan skala Linkert kepada mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana tentang kepuasan pelayanan kampus, diperoleh bahwa tingkat kepuasan pada faktor Performance, Information, Efficiency, dan Service ditemukan dalam kategori RAGU. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi dibuat dengan tujuan agar proses konsultasi lebih praktis, fleksibel dan mudah diakses jika digunakan mahasiswa dan unit pelayanan kampus dalam melakukan konsultasi. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menerapkan metode Agile Scrum untuk membuat sebuah sistem yang memiliki fleksibilitas tinggi agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan terkini seputar administrasi kemahasiswaan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Manfaat yang ditawarkan oleh Agile Scrum dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuannya yang efektif dalam mengatasi beberapa masalah umum yang terjadi dalam pengembangan sistem, seperti biaya produksi, prediktabilitas jadwal, dan perubahan ruang lingkup yang terjadi secara bertahap. Dengan pendekatan Agile Scrum, tim peneliti dapat lebih adaptif dan responsif terhadap perubahan yang mungkin terjadi dalam lingkungan pengembangan. Kata kunci: Aplikasi; Mobile Programming; Konsultasi; Teknologi Informasi; Agile Scrum The implementation of technology and information systems in the field of education, particularly in higher education institutions, holds great appeal for prospective students, current students, and service units within the institutions. The purpose of technological advancements is to facilitate and enhance the efficiency of student activities and operational processes within the university's service units. One form of technological development is the creation of a consultation application between students and campus service units. Based on a survey conducted using the Likert scale to students from Mercu Buana University regarding satisfaction with campus services, it was found that the satisfaction levels for the factors of Performance, Information, Efficiency, and Service fell into the DOUBTFUL category. Therefore, the application was developed with the aim of making the consultation process more convenient, flexible, and easily accessible for students and campus service units to engage in consultations. In this research, we apply the Agile method to make a highly flexible system that can keep up with the latest developments in student administration within the university environment. The benefits offered by Agile Scrum in this research are its effective ability to address several common problems that occur in system development, such as cost constraints, schedule predictability, and incremental scope changes. With the Agile Scrum approach, the research team can be more adaptive and responsive to changes that may arise in the development environment.
