Abstract
Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam proses penyeleksian calon karyawan secara konvensional salah satunya adalah Human Resource Development (HRD) harus mengecek CV dan melakukan interview para pelamar satu per satu yang relatif memakan waktu lama. Selain itu, diperlukan tempat penyimpanan khusus untuk menyimpan CV para pelamar, yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan arsip lamaran kerja sehingga mempersulit pihak HRD dalam mengelola berkas para pelamar. Kebutuhan sumber daya manusia (SDM) perusahaan yang semakin berkembang sedikit demi sedikit mengaruskan dibuatnya sebuah sistem yang mampu menunjang pertumbuhan bisnis perusahaan demi mewujudkan kinerja yang lebih baik. Dengan dirancangnya sistem informasi ini, maka terbukti baik pelamar atau HRD dapat menjalani proses penyeleksian dengan jauh lebih efektif dan efisien, dari yang tadinya membutuhkan rata-rata 20 hari menjadi 2 sampai 3 hari saja. Sistem informasi web ini dirancang menggunakan metode pengembangan Waterfall dan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara. Kata kunci : Sistem Informsai Web, Waterfall, PHP, Calon Karyawan. One of the problems that often occurs in the process of selecting prospective employees conventionally is that Human Resource Development (HRD) has to check CVs and conduct interviews with applicants one by one which is relatively time consuming. In addition, a special storage area is needed to store applicants' CVs, which can cause a buildup of job application files, making it difficult for HRD to manage applicant files. The company's growing human resource (HR) needs gradually require the creation of a system capable of supporting the company's business growth in order to achieve better performance. With the design of this information system, it is proven that both applicants and HRD can undergo the selection process much more effectively and efficiently, from what previously required an average of 20 days to just 2 to 3 days. This web information system is designed using the Waterfall development method and the PHP programming language.
