Abstract

Company PT. Max Solution Indonesia operates in the information technology solutions sector. The company's business includes providing information technology consulting and solutions for customers facing issues with software, hardware, and network systems. During its operations, PT. Max Solution Indonesia often encounters several problems, such as errors in the employee attendance system, virus spread through flash drives, and significant data loss due to sudden computer shutdowns. To address these issues, this research is conducted using the COBIT 5 framework, adopting several domains. The research is also carried out due to the lack of awareness among startup companies about business risks, which can lead to failure and even bankruptcy. Therefore, a risk management approach is considered a suitable solution to reduce potential losses and identify risks that may arise in the context of information technology. From this research, steps for managing information technology risks in the company are generated. Twenty-three risks existing within the company are identified, and mitigation measures are presented to reduce these risk. Keywords : Risk, Information Technology Risk Management, COBIT 5, Risk Mitigation Perusahaan PT. Max Solution Indonesia beroperasi di sektor solusi teknologi informasi. Bisnis perusahaan ini mencakup konsultasi teknologi informasi serta penyediaan solusi bagi pelanggan yang menghadapi masalah dalam software, hardware, dan sistem jaringan. Pada saat pelaksanaan sering kali PT. Max Solution Indonesia mengalami beberapa permasalahan diantaranya adalah terjadinya eror pada sistem absensi karyawan, penyebaran virus melalui flashdisk, kehilangan data yang signifikan akibat komputer yang mati tiba-tiba. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatnya penelitian ini menggunakan framework COBIT 5 dengan mengadopsi beberapa domain. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan karena kesadaran yang kurang di kalangan perusahaan startup terhadap risiko bisnis, yang dapat mengakibatkan kegagalan dan bahkan kebangkrutan. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan manajemen atau pengelolaan risiko menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk mengurangi potensi kerugian dan mengidentifikasi risiko yang mungkin timbul dalam konteks teknologi informasi. Dari penelitian ini, dihasilkan langkah untuk manajemen risiko teknologi informasi pada perusahaan. Diidentifikasi ada 23 risiko yang ada di perusahaan serta dipaparkan langkah mitigasi untuk mengurangi risiko yang ada pada perusahaan.
