Abstract

In general, the problems that often arise every company, including PT. Alam Sejahtera is experiencing problems in achieving production targets according to production planning, so this study aims to determine the right forecasting method and appropriate aggregate strategy to be used in production overtime planning to meet production targets. In determining the root of the problem using the Root Cause Analysis method then the best strategy is chosen to provide the minimum Cost Overtime. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded that the most efficient forecasting of Overtime control is to use the Weighted Product Method to calculate the weight rating of each vector from the planing overtime of 15-240 minutes and get the results of the most efficient weight rating is Overtime, the time range is 30-90 minutes. adjust the efficiency of daily production and for the composition of overtime must be balanced with Overtime Day Shift greater than Night Shift. Keywords: Overtime, Root Cause Analysis, Weighted Product Pada umumnya masalah yang sering muncul tiap perusahaan termasuk PT. Alam Sejahtera adalah mengalami kendala dalam pencapaian target produksi sesuai Planing produksi sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan metode peramalan yang tepat dan strategi agregat yang sesuai untuk digunakan dalam perencanaan overtime produksi untuk memenuhi target produksi. Dalam penentuan akar masalah mengunakan metode Root Cause Analysis kemudian dipilih strategi terbaik untuk memberikan Cost Overtime paling minimum. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa peramalan pengendalian Overtime yang paling efisien adalah dengan menggunakan Metode Weighted Product menghitung rating bobot setiap vektor dari planing overtime 15-240 menit dan di dapatkan hasil Rating bobot yang paling efisien adalah Overtime rentang waktu 30-90 menit menyesuaikan eficiensi produksi harianya dan untuk komposisi overtime harus seimbang dengan Overtime Day Shift lebih besar dari Night Shift.
