Abstract

The rapid development of the industry and the large variety of products have led to an increasing need for automation and complex equipment. The guarantee of a smooth manufacturing process and quality output requires the support of equipment or machines that are always in good operating condition. PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Technology is a company engaged in services and manufacturing, especially hardchrome plating, hydraulic, pneumatic, roll, valve reconditioning, manufacture and engineering services that cannot be separated from problems related to the effectiveness of machines / equipment. One of the causes of the disruption of the production process is the lack of good maintenance management on the machine and it is known that at PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Technology is not a Make To Stock company, which means it always produces products according to predetermined standards within a predetermined period of time as well. But PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Teknologi is a Make To Order company, which means that the company's production system will only produce its products if a customer comes. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a machine performance measurement used to evaluate the effectiveness of an equipment in a production. OEE consists of three main ratios, namely Availability, Performance and Quality. The three values of this ratio will cover all the main issues that can affect how much product can be produced by the equipment and system operators used. The OEE method is the best way to identify process performance and find out where the highest or lowest point of machine effectiveness is. To get the OEE percentage value, it is necessary to multiply the ratio of Availability, Performance and Quality. The highest OEE value was found on August 13, 2020, which was 68.87% from the results of Availability 88.17%, Performance 82.20% and Quality 95.03%. While the lowest OEE value was on August 4, 2020, which was 64.35% from the results of Availability 86.02%, Performance 77.00% and Quality 97.16%. Six Big Losses factors that affect the low effectiveness of the L5A Lathe are known by Fishbone Diagram analysis, namely Reduce Speed Losses with 43.29% results. Keywords: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Ratio, Availability, Performance, Quality, Six Big Losses, Reduce Speed Losses Pesatnya perkembangan industri serta banyaknya variasi produk menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan kebutuhan akan otomasi dan peralatan yang kompleks. Jaminan akan proses manufaktur yang lancar dan output yang berkualitas memerlukan dukungan peralatan atau mesin yang selalu berada dalam kondisi operasi yang baik. PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Teknologi merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dibidang jasa dan manufaktur khususnya hardchrome platting, hydraulic, pneumatic, roll, rekondisi valve, manufacture dan engineering service yang tidak terlepas dari masalah yang berkaitan efektifitas mesin / peralatan. Salah satu penyebab terganggunya proses produksi tersebut adalah kurang baiknya manajemen pemeliharaan pada mesin tersebut dan diketahui bahwa di PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Teknologi bukanlah perusahaan Make To Stock yang berarti selalu memproduksi produk sesuai standar yang sudah di tentukan dalam jangka waktu yang sudah ditentukan juga. Tetapi PT. Mitra Industrial Chrome Teknologi merupakan perusahaan Make To Order yang berarti sistem produksi dari perusahaan tersebut hanya akan memproduksi produknya apabila ada customer yang datang. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) merupakan suatu pengukuran kinerja mesin yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi efektifitas sebuah peralatan dalam sebuah produksi. OEE terdiri dari tiga rasio utama yaitu Availability, Performance dan Quality. Ketiga nilai rasio ini akan mencakup seluruh pokok permasalahan yang dapat mempengaruhi seberapa banyak produk yang dapat dihasilkan oleh peralatan dan operator sistem yang digunakan. Metode OEE merupakan cara terbaik untuk mengidentifikasi performansi proses dan mencari pada bagian mana titik tertinggi atau rendahnya efektifitas dari mesin. Untuk mendapatkan nilai persentase OEE dibutuhkan perkalian dari rasio Availability, Performance dan Quality. Nilai OEE Tertinggi yaitu terdapat pada tanggal 13 Agustus 2020 yaitu sebesar 68,87% dari hasil Availability 88,17%, Performance 82,20% dan Quality 95,03%. Sedangkan nilai OEE terendah terdapat pada tanggal 04 Agustus 2020 yaitu sebesar 64,35% dari hasil Availability 86,02%, Performance 77,00% dan Quality 97,16%. Faktor Six Big Losses yang berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya efektifitas mesin Bubut L5A diketahui dengan analisa Fishbone Diagram yaitu Reduce Speed Losses dengan hasil 43,29%.
