Abstract

Project management is the activity of coordinating resources (human, material, technical, knowledge and skills) to achieve the results of a project. The success or failure of a project is largely determined by the planning and control of the project. Problems at PT. Prasetia Dwidharma is the delay in completing the project for procuring gym equipment due to delays in the shipping department which causes delays in the process of subsequent activities. The purpose of this research is to find the optimal time that can be used to minimize delays in project completion. Optimizing working time is quite important for companies in working on projects, because this work requires time efficiency because gym equipment is needed by clients. The methods used in this study are the CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) methods. With the CPM method, 15 critical activities were obtained, and based on calculations with the CPM method, a total duration of 239 days was obtained from the previous 306 days and the PERT method obtained 13 critical activities, and a total duration of 258 days from the previous 306 days. The CPM method has a difference of 19 days faster when compared to calculation techniques using the PERT method, so researchers recommend using the CPM method for project scheduling. Keyword: Project Management, procurement, gym equipment, CPM, PERT Manajemen proyek adalah kegiatan mengkoordinir sumber daya (manusia, material, teknik, pengetahuan, dan keahlian) guna pencapaian hasil suatu proyek. Keberhasilan atau kegagalan suatu proyek sangat ditentukan oleh perencanaan dan pengendalian proyek tersebut. Permasalahan di PT.Prasetia Dwidharma adalah keterlambatan dalam menyelesaikan proyek pengadaan alat gym karena adanya keterlambatan di bagian pengiriman yang menyebabkan terhambat nya proses kegiatan berikutnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari waktu optimal yang dapat digunakan untuk meminimalisir keterlambatan penyelesaian proyek. Optimalisasi waktu kerja cukup penting bagi perusahaan dalam mengerjakan proyek, karena dalam pekerjaan ini dibutuhkan efisiensi waktu dikarenakan alat gym diperlukan oleh klien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode CPM (Critical Path Method) dan PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique). Dengan metode CPM diperoleh 15 kegiatan kritis, dan berdasarkan perhitungan dengan metode CPM diperoleh total durasi waktu 239 hari dari sebelumnya 306 hari dan dengan metode PERT diperoleh 13 kegiatan kritis, dan total durasi waktu 258 hari dari sebelumnya 306 hari. Metode CPM memiliki selisih 19 hari lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan teknik perhitungan menggunakan metode PERT, maka peneliti merekomendasikan untuk menggunakan metode CPM untuk penjadwalan poroyek.
