Abstract
This company is one of the companies engaged in the pharmaceutical industry, especially drugs and cosmetics. This study aims to analyze the work posture of analysts in the Quality Control laboratory using the REBA method. The purpose of the analysis using the REBA method is to find out the work position used by the analyst when conducting the analysis is correct or is indicated to be problematic. The type of risk that can arise when conducting an analysis is that there is a feeling of aches and pains after the analyst has worked for a long time. If left unchecked and no change in working position is made, it can cause injury and the operator's bone health will be disrupted. After analyzing and calculating using the REBA method, there are 4 activities that are prone to injury to the analyst, namely sample preparation activities, sample measurement, washing glassware, and disposing of the residual waste of the analyst's samples. Based on the calculation of the REBA score for the 4 work activities above, it is known that the work activities of preparation, sample measurement, and washing glassware get a final score of 5, while removing the remaining waste from the analysis results get a final score of 6. All work activities in the Quality Control laboratory include in action level 2 which requires recommendations for change actions. Keywords: Work posture, REBA, ergonomics, musculoskeletal disorders, Nordic Body Map Perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri farmasi khususnya obat dan kosmetik. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisa postur kerja analis di laboratorium Quality Control menggunakan metode REBA. Tujuan dari analisis menggunakan metode REBA ialah untuk mengetahui posisi kerja yang digunakan analis pada saat melakukan analisa sudah benar atau terindikasi bermasalah. Jenis risiko yang dapat timbul pada saat melakukan analisa adalah muncul rasa pegal dan nyeri setelah analis tersebut bekerja dengan waktu yang lama. Jika dibiarkan dan tidak dilakukan perubahan posisi bekerja maka dapat menimbul cidera dan kesehatan tulang operator tersebut akan terganggu. Setelah dilakukan analisa dan perhitungan menggunakan metode REBA terdapat 4 aktivitas yang rentan terjadinya cidera pada analis, yaitu aktivitas preparasi sampel, pengukuran sampel, mencuci alat gelas, dan membuang limbah sisa sampel hasil analis. Berdasarkan perhitungan skor REBA terhadap 4 aktivitas kerja diatas maka diketahui, aktivitas kerja preparasi, pengukuran sampel, dan pencucian alat gelas memperoleh skor akhir 5, sedangkan membuang limbah sisa hasil analisa memperoleh skor akhir 6. Seluruh aktivitas kerja yang ada di laboratorium Quality Control tersebut termasuk dalam level tindakan 2 yang memerlukan rekomendasi adanya tindakan perubahan.
