Abstract
The process of installing the uppersole at the Varca.inc brand shoe production house is still simple and relies on the human thigh to position the uppersole to be processed, making the process less effective. Therefore it is necessary to design a fixture tool that can relieve the constraints that occur. The design of this tool is carried out through the application of the VDI 2222 method with the help of CAD technology. The VDI 2222 method has 4 (four) stages, namely planning, conceptualizing, designing and finalizing. In the conceptual stage, several design variations are produced and then reassessed based on technical aspects. The selected concept is then analyzed on the function of the locator and fixture system. After analysis, the design is then optimized to maximize the results of the previous design. Finally, the design will be finalized and produce working drawings in the form of layout drawings, sub-arrangements, and drawings of each part. Keywords: Design, Fixture,Installation, Uppersole, VDI222 Proses pemasangan uppersole pada rumah produksi sepatu brand Varca.inc masih sederhana dan mengandalkan paha manusia untuk memposisikan uppersole yang akan diproses sehingga membuat proses pengerjaan kurang efektif. Maka dari itu perlu dirancang alat bantu fixture yang dapat meringankan kendala yang terjadi. Perancangan alat bantu ini dilakukan melalui penerapan metode VDI 2222 dengan bantuan teknologi CAD. Metode VDI 2222 memiliki 4 (empat) tahapan yaitu merencana, mengkonsep, merancang dan penyelesaian. Dalam tahapan mengkonsep menghasilkan beberapa variasi ranangan dan kemudian dinilai kembali berdasarkan aspek teknis. Konsep yang terpilih kemudian dilakukan analisa pada fungsi lokator dan fixture system. Setelah dilakukan analisa, rancangan kemudian dioptimasi untuk memaksimalkan hasi rancangan sebelumnya. Terakhir rancangan akan diselesaikan dan menghasilkan gambar kerja berupa gambar susunan, sub susunan, dan gambar dari setiap part. Kata Kunci : Perancangan, Fixture,Pemasangan, Uppersole, VDI222
