Abstract

Di masa kini, industri manufaktur telah memberikan kontribusi yang besar bagi Negara Indonesia. Perkembangan teknologi menjadi hal yang penting dalam mendorong perusahaan-perusahaan untuk selalu membuat improvement yang dapat mempercepat proses produksi dan meningkatkan keamanan sehingga menghasilkan produk yang aman dan berkualitas. Kebocoran pada hose fluida dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan. Hose atau selang merupakan salah satu komponen penting pada sistem fluida di bidang otomotif. Kualitas produk hose sangat krusial untuk memastikan keamanan dan kinerja sistem fluida. Oleh karena itu, pengecekan kualitas produk pada hose perlu dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengecekan kualitas produk pada hose dengan menggunakan metode uji tekanan menggunakan sensor pressure switch. Uji tekanan dilakukan dengan memberikan tekanan pada hose hingga mencapai nilai tertentu dan dilihat apakah terjadi kebocoran atau kerusakan pada hose. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall dimulai dari studi literatur berupa data-data dari masing-masing komponen, perancangan dan pembuatan program untuk alat pendeteksi kebocoran hose dengan menggunakan PLC. Alat ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen, antara lain PLC, push button, emergency switch, pilot lamp, solenoid valve, pressure switch, regulator, dan kompresor. Hasil pengecekan kualitas produk pada hose menunjukkan beberapa produk terdapat masalah dan tidak memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditetapkan. Dan penggunaan alat ini dapat menambah efisiensian, tingkat keefisiensian alat ini 26,21% dan cycle time 3,67sekon. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi industri manufaktur dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk hose. KATA KUNCI: Fluida, Hose, Pressure, Kualitas produk, Sensor. Technological developments are important in encouraging companies to always make improvements that can speed up the production process and improve security so as to produce safe and quality products. A leak in the fluid hose can cause an accident. Hose or hose is one of the important components in the fluid system in the automotive sector. The quality of the hose product is crucial to ensure the safety and performance of the fluid system. Therefore, checking product quality on the hose needs to be done. In this study, product quality was checked on the hose using the pressure test method using a pressure switch sensor. The pressure test is carried out by applying pressure to the hose until it reaches a certain value and seeing if there is a leak or damage to the hose. The method used in this study is the waterfall method starting from a literature study in the form of data from each component, designing and creating a program for a hose leak detection device using a PLC. This tool consists of several components, including PLC, push button, emergency switch, pilot lamp, solenoid valve, pressure switch, regulator, and compressor. The results of product quality checks on the hose showed that several products had problems and did not meet the established quality standards. And the use of this tool can increase efficiency, the level of efficiency of this tool is 26.21% and the cycle time is 3.67 seconds. This research is expected to provide useful information for the manufacturing industry in improving the quality of hose products. KEY WORDS: Fluid, Hose, Pressure, Product quality, Sensor
