Abstract

PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur yang memproduksi produk elektronika rumah tangga salah satunya Air Conditioner (AC). Permasalahan yang terjadi pada PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia terdapat penumpukkan part service pada gudang persediaan bahan baku yang menimbulkan dampak pada kegiatan produksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Divisi Gudang Business Unit AC PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab terjadi penumpukkan dan mengetahui sistem pengendalian. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Just In Time (JIT) dan berfokus pada analisis metode tersebut terhadap persediaan bahan baku untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi dan selanjutnya menghitung efisiensi biaya persediaan bahan baku tersebut dan membandingkan metode perusahaan dengan metode yang dipakai peneliti. Dari analisis menggunakan metode Just In Time bisa disimpulkan bahwa sistem Just In Time lebih efisien dalam perhitungan total biaya persediaan part service kompresor pada Business Unit AC PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. Penghematan biaya yang didapat sebesar Rp 12.463.500 dari total persediaan awal part service sebesar Rp 18.933.000. Kata Kunci : Part Sevice, Pengendalian Persediaan, Efisiensi Biaya, Just In Time PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia is a company engaged in manufacturing that produces household electronic products, one of which is Air Conditioner (AC). The problem that occurred at PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia was the accumulation of service parts in the raw material inventory warehouse which had an impact on production activities. This research was conducted in the AC Business Unit Warehouse Division of PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. This study aims to identify the factors that cause accumulation and determine the control system. This research uses the Just In Time (JIT) method and focuses on the analysis of this method on the supply of raw materials to meet production needs and thencalculates the efficiency of the cost of supplying these raw materials and compares the company's method with the method used by researchers. From the analysis using the Just In Time method, it can be concluded that the Just In Time system is more efficient in calculating the total cost of compressor service part inventory at PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia's AC Business Unit. The cost savings obtained were IDR 12,463,500 from the total initial inventory of service parts of IDR 18,933,000. Keywords : Part Service, Inventory Control, Cost Efficiency, Just In Time
