Abstract
PT. Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Mfg merupakan perusahaan group ASTRA dan Hitachi yang bergerak dalam produksi komponen otomotif shock absorber. Shock absorber adalah salah satu komponen yang terletak pada sistem suspensi kendaraan yang berfungsi untuk mencegah guncangan berlebih ketika sistem suspensi bekerja. Shock absorber terdiri dari beberapa komponen yaitu rod, piston, cylinder, spring, bottom tube. Perusahaan ini juga menyuplai untuk berbagai perusahaan otomotif seperti Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, dan lain – lain untuk kebutuhan shock absorber mereka sesuai spesifikasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Just In Time karena untuk memperbaiki kualitas produknya, menekan biaya produksi, meningkatkan produktivitasnya, serta memberikan solusi alternatif kepada warehouse dalam menangani kondisi stock opname. Kata Kunci : Persediaan, Just In Time, Warehouse PT. Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Manufacturing is an ASTRA and Hitachi group company engaged in the production of automotive shock absorber components. Shock absorber is one of the components located in the vehicle suspension system which functions to prevent excessive shocks when the suspension system is working. The shock absorber consists of several components, namely rod, piston, cylinder, spring, bottom tube. This company also supplies to various automotive companies such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and others for their shock absorber needs according to specifications. The method used is Just In Time because to improve product quality, reduce production costs, increase productivity, and provide alternative solutions to the warehouse in handling stock taking conditions Keywords: Inventory, Just In Time, Warehouse
