Abstract

Pengendalian persediaan merupakan aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh tiap perusahaan sehingga harus dikendalikan dengan sangat baik. Bahan kimia yang minim akan mengganggu alur proses perilisan analisa hingga produksi. Perusahaan harus melakukan kebijakan tentang pengendalian persediaan, sehingga kondisi optimal dapat dicapai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu industri farmasi pada Quality Control Departement yang merupakan bagian pengawasan mutu dalam memproduksi obat-obatan seperti obat generik dengan menganalisa produk jadi obat yang melibatkan kebutuhan bahan kimia dalam tiap analisa. Jenis bahan kimia yang sering terjadi stock out adalah metanol dan sodium klorida. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui jumlah bahan kimia yang harus dipesan, menentukan lama waktu pemesanan, mengetahui besarnya safety stock dan biaya penghematan bahan kimia metanol dan sodium klorida. Metode yang digunakan ialah model Q Back Order. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan model Q Back Order ialah banyaknya bahan kimia metanol dan sodium klorida yang dipesan untuk memenuhi permintaan dari perusahaan masing-masing ialah 417 Botol ≈ 1668 Liter dan 22 Botol ≈ 22 Kilogram ketika persediaan bahan kimia metanol tersisa 136 Botol ≈ 544 Liter dan bahan kimia sodium klorida tersisa 4 Botol ≈ 4 Kilogram. Maka besarnya safety stock bahan kimia metanol dan sodium klorida yang tersedia masing- masing adalah 5 Botol ≈ 20 Liter dan 1 Botol ≈ 1 Kilogram. Sehingga melalui metode model Q Back Order ini diperoleh penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.7.427.599,00 untuk bahan kimia cair (Metanol) dan Rp. 3.765.631,82 untuk bahan kimia padat (Sodium Klorida) Kata Kunci : Persediaan, Safety Stock, Probabilistik, Q Back Order. Inventory control is an important aspect that must be considered by every company so that it must be controlled very well. Minimal chemicals will disrupt the flow of the analysis release process to production. Companies must implement policies regarding inventory control, so that optimal conditions can be achieved. This research was conducted in one of the pharmaceutical industries in the Quality Control Department which is part of quality control in producing drugs such as generic drugs by analyzing finished drug products which involve the need for chemicals in each analysis. The types of chemicals that often occur in stock outs are methanol and sodium chloride. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of chemicals that must be ordered, determine the length of time for ordering, determine the size of the safety stock and the cost of saving chemicals methanol and sodium chloride. The method used is the Q Back Order model. The results obtained after calculating with the Q Back Order model are the amount of methanol and sodium chloride chemicals ordered to meet the demand from the respective companies, namely 417 Bottles ≈ 1668 Liters and 22 Bottles ≈ 22 Kilograms when the supply of methanol chemicals remains 136 Bottles ≈ 544 Liters and remaining 4 bottles of sodium chloride chemicals ≈ 4 Kilograms. Then the amount of safety stock of methanol and sodium chloride chemicals available is 5 Bottles ≈ 20 Liters and 1 Bottle ≈ 1 Kilogram, respectively. So that through the Q Back Order model method, cost savings of Rp.7,427,599.00 for liquid chemicals (methanol) and Rp. 3,765,631.82 for solid chemicals (sodium chloride) Keywords: Inventory, Safety Stock, Probabilistic, Q Back Order.
