Abstract

Peningkatan dalam produk keamanan berupa brankas masih menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat untuk menyimpan dokumen penting ataupun barang berharga. Data produksi line painting di PT CSI periode September 2022 sampai Februari 2023 terdapat empat periode rencana produksi yang tidak memenuhi target perusahaan sebesar 480 pcs. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan secara terus-menerus dengan melakukan analisis penyebab waste pada line painting PT CSI. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenisjenis pemborosan yang paling dominan, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab pemborosan, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dengan metode DMAIC dan VSM. Diketahui ada 3 jenis waste berdasarkan pengolahan data. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dengan menggunakan Value Stream Mapping dan Process Activity Mapping maka diketahui tiga jenis waste yang teridentifikasi adalah waiting, excess processing, dan defect. Waste ini termasuk kedalam aktivitas NVA dengan presentase sebesar 46,12%. Faktor yang menyebabkan waste tersebut yaitu ada 5 faktor yaitu manusia, metode, lingkungan, material, dan mesin. Melalui metode DMAIC dihasilkan usulan perbaikan yang dapat diimplementasikan di lapangan dengan memperbaiki akar masalah yang ada mulai dari melakukan edukasi/training kepada man power, menggabungkan proses yang memiliki waktu tunggu yang lama menjadi 1 operator, menambahkan WIP dari proses Cleaning hingga Top Coat, 5S rutin di area kerja terkait, meningkatkan komunikasi antar operator dan Leader jika terjadi kerusakan alat sehingga persentase aktivitas NVA pada line painting menurun sebesar 41,58% dari 46,12% menjadi 4,54% dan nilai VA meningkat sebesar 40,76% dari 52,6% menjadi 93,36%. Kata Kunci : Pemborosan, Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC , VSM, Efisiensi Improvement in security products in the form of safes is still a public need to store important documents or valuables. Waste this is included in the NVA activity with a percentage of 46.12%. Causal factorswaste there are 5 factors namely human, method, environment, material, and machine. Through the DMAIC method, suggestions for improvements are generated that can be implemented in the field by fixing the root of the problem, starting from conducting education/training toman power, combines processes that have long wait times into 1 operator, adds WIP of processesCleaning untilTop Coat, routine 5S in related work areas, improve communication between operators andLeader if there is damage to the tool so that the percentage of NVA activity online painting decreased by 41.58% from 46.12% to 4.54% and the VA value increased by 40.76% from 52.6% to 93.36%.
