Abstract

Mesin atau peralatan merupakan bagian terpenting dari suatu sistem pekerjaan. Mesin membutuhkan perawatan yang efektif dan efisien untuk dapat menjamin dan mendukung proses bisnis agar dapat beroperasi dengan baik. Aktivitas perawatan merupakan bagian terpenting dari program bisnis perusahaan. Industri Gas Timur Tengah salah satu industri yang menjalankan proses layanan gas. Berdasarkan observasi, ditemukan permasalahan mesin mengalami breakdown sehingga mengakibatkan mesin tidak dapat beroperasi maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang menyebabkan mesin mengalami breakdown dan melakukan perbaikan agar kinerja mesin meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Total Productive Maintenance. Obyek penelitian dilakukan pada mesin Loading Arm. Permasalahan yang terjadi disebabkan oleh kerusakan pada Swivel. Perbaikan yang dilakukan dengan menerapkan pilar Total Productive Maintenance. Pilar yang diterapkan yaitu Planned Maintenance, Focussed Improvement dan Training and Education. Planned Maintenance yang dijalankan dengan menjadwal Preventive Maintenance pada mesin Loading Arm baik harian, mingguan maupun bulanan. Focussed Improvement yang dilakukan dengan melakukan demonstrasi penggantian seal untuk lengan pemuatan LNG 1 di manifold rakitan Triple Swivel. Training and Education dilakukan dengan melibakan tim operasi dan pemeliharaan bersama vendor dan juga pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama periode awal tahun 2023 tidak ada kebocoran pada seal sehingga meningkatkan kinerja Loading Arm. Kata kunci: Breakdown, Loading Arm, Total productive Maintenance Machine or equipment is the most important part of a work system. Machines require effective and efficient maintenance to be able to guarantee and support business processes so they can operate properly. Maintenance activities are the most important part of the company's business program. The Middle East Gas Industry is one of the industries that runs gas service processes. Based on observations, it was found that the engine had a breakdown problem which resulted in the machine not being able to operate optimally. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause the machine to experience breakdown and make improvements so that engine performance increases. This study uses the Total Productive Maintenance method. The research object was carried out on the Loading Arm machine. The problems that occur are caused by damage to Swivel. Improvements made by implementing the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance. The implemented pillars are Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement and Training and Education. Planned Maintenance which is carried out by scheduling Preventive Maintenance on Loading Arm machines both daily, weekly and monthly. Focussed Improvement carried out by demonstrating seal replacement for the LNG 1 loading arm in the Triple Swivel manifold assembly. Training and Education is carried out by involving the operations and maintenance team with vendors as well as training. The results showed that during the initial period of 2023 there were no leaks in the seals thereby increasing the performance of the Loading Arm.
