Abstract

Sepak bola adalah salah satu olahraga paling populer bagi kebanyakan orang di dunia. Piala Dunia U-20 adalah ajang sepak bola internasional yang diadakan oleh FIFA setiap dua tahun sekali. Analisis sentimen adalah proses memahami, mengekstrak dan mengolah data tekstual secara otomatis untuk mendapatkan informasi sentimen yang terkandung dalam suatu kalimat. Analisis sentimen pada penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma Logistic Regression. Dalam konteks analisis sentimen, variabel dependen dapat dianggap sebagai sentimen positif atau negatif terhadap Piala Dunia U-20 2023, sedangkan variabel independen dapat berupa seperti, Kata kunci atau hashtag terkait piala dunia U-20 2023, Emosi atau sentimen dalam teks pengguna,dan Tanggal dan waktu. Pada penelitian ini penulis bisa menarik kesimpulan bahwa Algoritma Logistic Regression memberikan performa yang cukup baik dalam menganalisis sentiment terhadap piala dunia u-20. Karena dalam penelitian ini algoritma Logistic Regression menghasilkan persisi false negative 90%, presisi true positive 89%. Dan dalam pengujian model algoritma Logistic Regerssion yang sudah dibuat, berhasil mendapatkan hasil akhir negative pada komentar “indonesia gagal lagi”. Football is one of the most popular sports for most people in the world. The FIFA U-20 World Cup is an international football event held by FIFA every two years. Sentiment analysis is the process of understanding, extracting, and automatically processing textual data to obtain sentiment information contained in a sentence. In this research, sentiment analysis is performed using the Logistic Regression algorithm. In the context of sentiment analysis, the dependent variable can be considered as positive or negative sentiment towards the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, while independent variables can include keywords or hashtags related to the U-20 World Cup 2023, emotions or sentiments in user texts, and date and time. The conclusion drawn from this research is that the Logistic Regression algorithm performs quite well in analyzing sentiment towards the U-20 World Cup. In this study, the Logistic Regression algorithm produces a false negative precision of 90%, a true positive precision of 89%. And in the testing of the constructed Logistic Regression algorithm model, it successfully yields a negative outcome for the comment "Indonesia fails again."
