Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam tradisi arisan marga pada suku Batak. Namun, pandemi Covid-19 telah menghambat pelaksanaan arisan tersebut dengan adanya pembatasan interaksi sosial. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi web arisan marga yang menggunakan metode Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) dalam pengundian penerima arisan, serta memanfaatkan e-voting untuk pemilihan pengurus. Dalam penelitian ini, dikembangkan aplikasi web arisan marga berbasis PHP dengan menggunakan framework Codeigniter dan database MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif dalam mengelola data anggota, keuangan arisan, dan pengundian penerima arisan dengan cara yang adil dan acak. Aplikasi ini merupakan solusi inovatif dalam pengelolaan arisan tradisional, memungkinkan pelaksanaan arisan secara online, transparan, dan mempertahankan hubungan antar anggota marga. Kata Kunci : Arisan marga, Aplikasi web, Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) The development of technology has had a significant impact on daily life, including in the traditional "arisan" (a form of social gathering and collective saving) of the Batak ethnic group. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has hindered the implementation of these "arisan" activities due to social interaction restrictions. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based "arisan" application that utilizes the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method for the selection of "arisan" recipients, as well as e-voting for the election of committee members. In this research, a PHP-based web application is developed using the Codeigniter framework and MySQL database. The results of the research show that this application is effective in managing member data, "arisan" finances, and conducting fair and random selection of "arisan" recipients. This application provides an innovative solution for managing traditional "arisan," enabling online implementation, transparency, and maintaining the relationships among the members of the ethnic group.
