Abstract
Dengan kemajuan teknologi di zaman sekarang, barcode menjadi hal yang umum dan dapat ditemukan dimana saja. Seperti pada Boarding pass, kemasan makanan dan minuman, buku, kartu identitas dan pruduk lainnya. Kriptografi merupakan teknik penyandian informasi yang dilakukan agar suatu informasi dapat ditransmisikan dan diterima dengan aman oleh penerima yang dituju atau pihakpihak yang berkepentingan. Tujuan kriptografi yaitu untuk menjaga keamanan serta kerahasiaan data dan informasi agar tidak disalah gunakan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Algoritma Base64 melibatkan proses enkripsi plainteks ke chiperteks melalui karakter ASCII, lalu mengkonversikan nya menjadi bentuk bilangan biner 8bit, dan kemudian mengkonversi bilangan biner 8bit tersebut menjadi bentuk desimal 6bit dan proses terakhir dikonversi menjadi nilai yang sesuai berdasarkan tabel index algoritma Base64. ASCII singakatan dari American Standard Code for Information Interchange, adalah standar pengkodean karakter untuk komunikasi elektronik. Kode ASCII mewakili teks di komputer, peralatan telekomunikasi, dan perangkat lainnya. Karena keterbatasan teknis sistem komputer pada saat ditemukan, ASCII hanya memiliki 128 poin kode, dimana hanya 95 karakter yang dapat dicetak, yang sangat terbatas ruang lingkupnya. Dan untuk implementasi algoritma kriptografi Base64 sebagai contoh kita memiliki data plainteks berupa ID aset yaitu “1112235”, hasil enkripsi algoritma Base64 yang didapat dari plainteks “1112235” yaitu “MTExMjIzN”. Kata Kunci: Kriptografi, Base64, ASCII, Aset. Today's technological advances, barcodes are common and can be found anywhere. Such as boarding passes, food and beverage packaging, books, identity cards and other products. Cryptography is an information encryption technique that is carried out so that information can be transmitted and received safely by the intended recipient or interested parties. The purpose of cryptography is to maintain the security and confidentiality of data and information so that it is not misused by irresponsible parties. The Base64 algorithm involves the process of encrypting plaintext to ciphertext via ASCII characters, then converting them into 8-bit binary numbers, and then converting these 8-bit binary numbers into 6-bit decimal forms and the last process is converted into the appropriate value based on the Base64 algorithm index table. ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange, is a character encoding standard for electronic communications. ASCII codes represent text on computers, telecommunications equipment, and other devices. Due to the technical limitations of the computer system at the time of its invention, ASCII had only 128 code points, of which only 95 characters could be printed, which was extremely limited in scope. And for the implementation of the Base64 cryptographic algorithm, for example, we have plaintext data in the form of an asset ID, namely "1112235", the results of the Base64 encryption algorithm obtained from plaintext "1112235", namely "MTExMjIzN".
