Abstract

Steel coated with oil aims to prevent rust or corrosion when stored somewhere or during the shipping process. It takes alcohol to remove it at a rate appropriate to the thickness of the oil. To make it easier for the operator to remove the oil, a tool is needed for automatic alcohol dilution and alcohol detection. This study used alcohol and distilled water which were pumped using a water pump and L298N motor driver. It takes 100mL of a homogeneous solution which is weighed using a HX711 Loadcell. After obtaining the required amount of solution, the MQ-3 sensor will detect the alcohol content contained in the homogeneous solution. The weight of the homogeneous solution and the alcohol content will be displayed on the 12X6 LCD. The entire design process uses the ESP32 microcontroller and is programmed on the Arduino IDE. This design control is monitored on the Blynk platform. The results show that this design is able to detect alcohol levels with a precision value and get an error of 0.94%. A comparison of measurements between the HX711 load cell and digital scales obtained an average difference of 0.96 mL. Keywords: Alcohol, Aquades, Sensors, Dilution, Internet of Things, Measurement Baja yang dilapisi oleh oli bertujuan untuk tidak terjadinya karat atau korosi pada saat disimpan di suatu tempat atau pada saat proses pengiriman. Dibutuhkan alkohol untuk menghilangkannya dengan tingkat kadar sesuai ketebalan oli. Untuk memudahkan operator dalam menghilangkan oli tersebut, dibutuhkan alat untuk pengenceran alkohol otomatis. Penelitian ini menggunakan alkohol dan aquades yang dipompa menggunakan waterpump dan motor driver L298N. Dibutuhkan 100mL larutan homogen yang di timbang beratnya menggunakan Loadcell HX711. Berat dari larutan homogen akan ditampilkan pada LCD 12X6. Seluruh proses rancang bangun menggunakan mikrokontroller ESP32 dan di program pada Arduino IDE. Pengontrolan rancang bangun ini di monitoring di aplikasi telegram. Didapatkan hasil bahwa rancang bangun ini mampu mendeteksi kadar alkohol dengan nilai presisi dan mendapatkan galat error 0.94%. Dilakukan perbandingan pengukuran antara loadcell HX711 dengan Timbangan digital didapatkan nilai rata-rata selisih sebesar 0.96 mL.
