Abstract

ABSTRAK Di era perkembangan dunia otomotif, saat ini sedang ramai dibicarakan baik dari segi efisiensi dan penggunaan energi, maupun tingkat keselamatan yang paling diperhatikan oleh masyarakat. Penambahan bioaditif minyak sereh bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai konsumsi bahan bakar yang ditempuh oleh kendaraan, Jadi dalam kendaraan terkomputerisasi yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengaruh penambahan bioaditif minyak sereh terhadap nilai konsumsi bahan bakar pada motor Vario 125cc 2019 dan pengaruh daya dan torsi serta banyaknya tumpukan carbon pada head silinder. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengujian penggunaan sehari-hari. Secara visual hasil yang diperoleh pada penggunaan BBM RON90 dengan campuran minyak sereh terlihat tumpukkan kotoran/karbon pada ruang bakar yang lebih sedikit dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan minyak sereh. Daya dan torsi ketika menggunakan menggunakan minyak sereh meningkat, daya BBM RON90 di rpm 5000 mendapatkan nilai 8,5 sedangkan dengan campuran minyak sereh mendapatkan nilai 9,1. Sedangkan torsi pada BBM RON90 di rpm 500 mendapatkan nilai 12,09 sedangkan dengan campuran minyak sereh mendapatkan nilai 12,86. Kata Kunci: Minyak Sereh, BBM RON90, Daya, Torsi, Carbon ABSTRACT In the era of the development of the automotive world, there is currently a lot of talk about both in terms of energy efficiency and use, as well as the level of safety that the public pays the most attention to. The addition of citronella oil bioadditives aims to determine the value of fuel consumption taken by the vehicle, so in computerized vehicles the aim is to obtain the effect of adding citronella oil bioadditives on the value of fuel consumption on the 125cc Vario motorbike 2019 and the effect of power and torque and the amount of carbon piles on the head cylinder. This study uses the method of testing everyday use. Visually, the results obtained when using RON90 fuel with a mixture of citronella oil show that there is less accumulation of dirt/carbon in the combustion chamber than without using citronella oil. The power and torque when using citronella oil increases, the power of the RON90 BBM at 5000 rpm gets a score of 8.5 while with a mixture of citronella oil it gets a score of 9.1. While the torque on RON90 fuel at 500 rpm gets a value of 12.09 while with a mixture of citronella oil gets a value of 12.86. Keywords: Citronella Oil, RON90 BBM, Power, Torque. Carbon
