Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of bicycle manufacturers competing to present a bicycle design that has its own appeal so that it can make it an example for the manufacture of these products, the use of bicycles is increasingly being abandoned due to less attractive forms and as an environmentally friendly means of transportation. choice when you are tired of using motorized vehicles that cause air pollution. Bicycles have a variety of types that can be used as a hobby for bicycle enthusiasts with a certain shape because it has its own shape and character that allows it to be a hobby and collection for bicycle enthusiasts. The making of penny bike bikes with the urban cycle concept is expected to build public awareness to switch to using environmentally friendly motorized vehicles aimed at reducing the level of air pollution, especially in the capital city. Because using a machine without fuel can reduce pollution which is increasingly thick due to the impact of using motorized vehicles that emit familiar smoke and noise that can disrupt the comfort of the surrounding environment. The penny bike shape is able to provide learning in the form of a history of bicycle development to people who have never seen the shape and development of a penny bike that has now been abandoned by the community because of the risk of falling due to the shape and size that creates opportunities for a penny bike bicycle design without removing the originality of the penny. In order to give a message and the impression of nostalgia for antique bicycle enthusiasts by adding electric bicycle components, it adds modern value to the design of the product and makes the penny bike a modern and feasible bicycle to be used as a mode of close-range transportation that is environmentally friendly and helps reduce air pollution due the use of machines that use fuel oil and become a transportation trend in the modern era that can still compete in the era of globalization Keyword: Penny bike, urban cycles, Electric Bike, Selis. Perkembangan zaman yang semakin pesat para produsen sepeda berlomba lomba untuk menghadirkan sebuah desain sepeda yang memiliki daya tarik sendiri agar dapat menjadikan cirikhas bagi pembuatan produk tersebut, penggunaan sepeda yang semakin lama semakin ditinggalkan karena bentuk yang kurang menarik dan sebagai sarana transportasi yang ramah lingkungan sepeda menjadi pilihan ketika bosan menggunakan kendaraan bermotor yang menimbulkan polusi udara. Sepeda memiliki bebagai macam jenis sehingga dapat dijadikan hobby bagi penggemar sepeda dengan bentuk tertentu karena memiliki bentuk dan karakter tersendiri yang memungkinkan untuk dijadikan sebuah hobby dan koleksi bagi penggemar sepeda. Dibuatnya perangcangan sepeda penny bike dengan konsep urban cycle diharapkan dapat membangun kesadaran masyarakat untuk beralih menggunakan kendaraan bermotor yang ramah lingkungan bertujuan untuk mengurangi tingkat polusi udara terutama didaerah ibu kota. Karena menggunakan mesin tanpa bahan bakar minyak dapat mengurangi polusi yang semakin hari semakin tebal karena dampak penggunaan kendaraan bermotor yang mengeluarkan asap kenalpot dan suara bising yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan lingkugan sekitar. Bentuk penny bike mampu memberikan pembelajaran berupa sejarah perkembangan sepeda kepada masyarakat yang tidak pernah melihat bentuk dan perkembangan sepeda penny bike yang kini telah di tinggalkan oleh masyarakat karena bentuk dan ukuran yang memiliki resiko terjatuh karena bentuk dan ukuran yang tinggi hal tersebut yang menjadi peluang untuk menciptakan sebuah perancangan sepeda penny bike tanpa menghilangkan orisinalitas dari penny tersebut. Agar memberi pesan dan kesan nostalgia bagi penggemar sepeda antik tersebut dengan ditambahkan komponen sepeda listrik menambahkan nilai moderen pada perancangan produk tersebut dan menjadikan penny bike sebagai sepeda yang moderen dan layak untuk dijadikan mode sarana transportasi jarak dekat yang ramah lingkungan dan membantu untuk mengurangi polusi udara akibat penggunaan mesin yang menggunakan bahan bakar minyak dan menjadi trend transportasi di era moderen yang tetap bisa bersaing pada era globalisasi Kata Kunci: Sepeda penny, sepeda perkotaan, Sepeda Listrik, Selis.
