Abstract

The hospital is one of the important facilities in a city that requires complete and efficient facilities. Each city area in Jakarta has a regional general hospital that has facilities that can meet the needs of each city area. Currently, the country of Indonesia is facing a triple burden of various disease problems, with new emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases such as Covid 19, communicable diseases have not been handled properly and noncommunicable diseases (PTM) tend to increase every year. As a result, this can be seen from the portion of Indonesia's health expenditure which is still focused on curative efforts. The design of public hospitals with a tropical architectural approach is expected in the design of hospital buildings that are functional, safe, comfortable, healthy and beautiful, and fulfill aesthetic principles, but are also required to design buildings that are safe and do not cause problems for the environment and humans. in the short or long term. Buildings must be energy efficient and produce the lowest possible carbon emissions in terms of building technology. Keywords: Hospital, Global Health, Tropical Architecture Rumah sakit merupakan salah satu fasilitas penting pada suatu kota yang memerlukan fasilitas yang lengkap dan efisein. Masing-masing wilayah kota di Jakarta mempunyai rumah sakit umum daerah yang memiliki fasilitas yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan untuk masing-masing wilayah kota tersebut. Saat ini negara indonesia sedang menghadapi triple burden atau beban tiga kali lipat berbagai masalah penyakit adanya penyakit infeksi new emerging dan reemerging seperti covid 19, penyakit menular belum teratasi dengan baik dan penyakit tidak menular (PTM) cenderung naik setiap tahunnya. akibatnya dapat dilihat dari porsi pengeluaran kesehatan indonesia masih berfokus pada upaya kuratif. perancangan rumah sakit umum dengan pendekatan arsitektur tropis di harapkan dalam perancangan bangunan rumah sakit yang memilik fungsional, aman, nyaman, sehat dan indah, serta memenuhi kaidah-kaidah estetika, namun juga dituntut untuk merancang bangunan yang aman serta tidak menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan dan manusia dalam jangka pendek atau panjang. Bangunan harus hemat energi dan menghasilkan emisi karbon serendah mungkin dalam masalah teknologi banguan. Kata Kunci : Rumah sakit, Kesehatan Global, Arsitektur Tropis
