Abstract
In the field of goods production, demand prediction is important. By doing sales predictions, companies can make calculations and forecasts for what raw materials are mostly ordered. The J48 algorithm is one of the most commonly used machine learning algorithms in decision making. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is a popular probability classification method in analysis. This algorithm assumes of feature independence which enables efficient calculation of class probabilities. This study produces high accuracy values with the Naïve Bayes and J48 algorithms. Both algorithm results have a fairly high accuracy value of 94% for Naïve Bayes and 98% for J48. These results can help companies to plan the right steps in increasing operational efficiency, optimizing resources, and also reducing production costs. Keywords: Naïve Bayes, J48, Decision Tree, Algorithm Dalam bidang produksi barang, prediksi permintaan sangat penting. Dengan melakukan prediksi penjualan, perusahaan dapat melakukan perhitungan dan ramalan untuk bahan baku yang paling banyak dipesan. Algoritma J48 adalah salah satu algoritma pembelajaran mesin yang paling umum digunakan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Algoritma Naïve Bayes adalah metode klasifikasi probabilitas populer dalam analisis. Algoritma ini mengasumsikan independensi fitur yang memungkinkan perhitungan efisien probabilitas kelas. Studi ini menghasilkan nilai akurasi tinggi dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes dan J48. Kedua hasil algoritma memiliki nilai akurasi yang cukup tinggi, yaitu 94% untuk Naïve Bayes dan 98% untuk J48. Hasil ini dapat membantu perusahaan merencanakan langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengoptimalkan sumber daya, dan juga mengurangi biaya produksi.
