Abstract

Problems are often found when people are still difficult to determine which kafe or toko souvenir they want to visit because they are indecisive and there are to many places. Therefore, in this study, the authors conducted data analysis to find out the location of kafes and toko souvenirs throughout Indonesia which will help users in finding locations through dashboards. This research shows that the implementation of a dashboard reporting data on kafes and toko souvenirs throughout Indonesia using a star scheme approach can improve the efficiency of decision making. The star method is used as a plan to design and develop an informative dashboard. In this implementation, kafe and toko souvenir shop data from all over Indonesia is collected and stored in a central database. The data is then analyzed and presented as an interactive visualization through a dashboard. Dashboard users can view overall performance metrics for kafes and toko souvenir shops or select specific areas. This approach was used as it simplified the process of querying and analyzing the database. Data samples were taken from various kafes and toko souvenir shops across Indonesia and loaded into the database structure using a star schema approach. Furthermore, the reporting dashboard is created using Power BI software so that the visual information provided is easier to understand. Dashboard reporting provides visualizations that are easy to understand, while the data warehouse reserves large and diverse data sets for processing into reports. Keywords : Dashboard Reporting, Star Schema, Kafe and Toko souvenir Data, Visualization Masalah sering ditemukan ketika masyarakat masih sulit untuk menentukan kafe atau toko souvenir yang ingin dikunjungi karena bimbang dan terlalu banyak tempat. Maka dari itu pada penelitian ini, penulis melakukan analisis data untuk mengetahui lokasi kafe dan toko souvenir di seluruh Indonesia yang akan membantu pengguna dalam mencari lokasi melalui dashboard. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan dashboard pelaporan data kafe dan toko souvenir di seluruh Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan star skema dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengambilan keputusan. Metode star digunakan sebagai rencana untuk merancang dan mengembangkan dashboard yang informatif. Dalam implementasi ini, data kafe dan toko toko souvenir dari seluruh Indonesia dikumpulkan dan disimpan dalam database pusat. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan disajikan sebagai visualisasi interaktif melalui dashboard. Pengguna dashboard dapat melihat metrik kinerja keseluruhan untuk kafe dan toko souvenir atau memilih area tertentu. Pendekatan ini digunakan karena mempermudah proses query dan analisis database. Sampel data diambil dari berbagai kafe dan toko toko souvenir di seluruh Indonesia kemudian dimuat ke dalam struktur database dengan menggunakan pendekatan star skema. Selanjutnya dashboard pelaporan dibuat menggunakan software Power BI agar informasi visual yang diberikan lebih mudah dipahami. Dashboard reporting memberikan visualisasi yang mudah dipahami, sedangkan data warehouse mencadangkan kumpulan data yang besar dan beragam untuk diproses menjadi laporan.
