Abstract

PT. Eraputra Rahayu Engineering is a company engaged in Machinery Installation Services, Engine Maintenance, and Refrigeration Engines. To make a company that has high integrity, of course, it requires human resources who have a license for the special equipment. Then the human resource factor is one of the important factors that will determine the success or failure of a company. The Refrigeration Machine Repair and Maintenance Division only has 9 employees (1 Supervisor, 1 Logistics, 1 HSE, and 6 Technicians) and must carry out Refrigeration Machine Maintenance, Fabrication, and Maintenance. However, several things make maintenance activities experience problems. Currently, maintenance activities can be carried out more than 5 different activities that require employees, especially 6 maintenance technicians to participate in overtime at night and everyweekend shifts are carried out for area control. This study aims to determine the workload of maintenance technician operators at PT. Eraputra Rahayu Engineering. The measured workload is physical and mental workload. Physical workload as measured by cardiovascular load (CVL). The mental workload was measured using the NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. Based on CVL analysis, the physical workload received by 6 maintenance operators has a CVL percentage with an average value of 44.4% classified as heavy workload. Meanwhile, from the results of the NASA-TLX analysis, the mental workload received by 6 maintenance operators is with an average NASA-TLX score of 89.41, means that the mental workload is quite heavy. Keywords: Physical workload, mental workload, CVL, NASA-TLX PT. Eraputra Rahayu Engineering merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang Jasa Installation Mesin, Maintenance mesin dan Mesin Pendingin. Untuk menjadikan perusahaan yang memiliki integritas tinggi tentunya dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki lisensi khusus peralatan tersebut. Maka faktor sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang akan menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya suatu perusahaan. Divisi Perbaikan dan Pemeliharaan Mesin Pendingin hanya terdapat karyawan sebanyak 9 orang (1 Supervisor, 1 Logistik, 1 HSE dan 6 Teknisi) dan harus melakukan Pemeliharaan Mesin Pendingin, Fabrikasi dan Perawatan. Namun ada beberapa hal yang membuat kegiatan perawatan dan maintenance mengalami kendala. Saat ini, kegiatan maintenance bisa dilakukan lebih dari 5 kegiatan yang berbeda yang mengharuskan karyawan khususnya pada 6 operator teknisi maintenance untuk ikut serta lembur pada malam hari dan setiap akhir pekan dilakukan Shift untuk kontrol area. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi beban kerja yang dialami oleh operator teknisi maintenance di PT. Ekaputra Rahayu Engineering. Beban kerja yang diukur adalah beban kerja fisik dan mental. Beban kerja fisik diukur berdasarkan cardiovascular load (CVL). Beban kerja mental diukur dengan menggunakan metode NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). Berdasarkan hasil analisis CVL, beban kerja fisik yang diterima oleh 6 operator maintenance memiliki presentase CVL dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 44,4% tergolong beban kerja berat. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis NASA-TLX, beban kerja mental yang diterima 6 operator maintenance yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata skor NASA-TLX 89,41 yang berarti beban kerja mental tergolong berat.
