Abstract

TBR or Truck Bus Radial is one type of tire that is being developed by PT. GTR. One of the production processes at PT.GTI is Section Material 1 where this section is the process of printing compound into tire layers. In the material section 1 the number of product defects produced does not meet the quality standards specified by the company. If you look at the data on the results of material defect 1 products for the last few months in 2020, the Inner Liner product is the product that has the highest defects. The method used in this research is the QCC Quality Control Circle. Based on the analysis using the QCC method, there are several problems in the manufacture of Inner Liner products such as auto rejects, products that roll on the conveyor, NG cut results and products that fold in the cartridge. From the root of the problem, improvements were made in the form of revising standardization (SOP) and socialization related to the use of grease and facilities, adding detection sensors on the conveyor and adjusting the cutter angle and cleaning the cutter. With these improvements, the average defect ratio of Inner Liner products after repairs decreased from 9.1% to 4.3%. Directly affect the total defective products in section material 1 of the target set by management of 5%. Keywords: QCC, Quality control circle, Inner Liner, Defective Products, Material1 TBR atau Truck Bus Radial merupakan salah satu jenis ban yang sedang dikembangkan oleh PT.GTR. Salah satu proses produksi pada PT.GTR adalah Section Material 1 dimana bagian ini adalah proses pencetakan compound menjadi lapisan ban. Pada section material 1 jumlah cacat produk yang dihasilkan tidak memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditentukan perusahaan. Bila melihat dari data hasil produk cacat material 1 selama beberapa bulan terakhir di tahun 2020, produk Inner Liner merupakan produk yang memiliki cacat paling tinggi. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini ialah QCC Quality Control Circle. Berdasarkan analisa dengan metode QCC, pembuatan produk Inner Liner terdapat beberapa permasalahan seperti produk Inner Liner terjadi auto reject, produk yang menggulung di conveyor, Hasil potongan yang NG dan produk yang melipat di catridege. Dari akar masalah tersebut dilakukan perbaikan berupa merevisi standarisasi (SOP) dan sosialisasi terkait penggunaan grease dan sarana, menambahan sensor deteksi pada conveyor dan mengatur sudut cutter serta pembersihan pada cutter. Dengan perbaikan tersebut rata-rata rasio cacat produk Inenr Liner setelah perbaikan turun dari 9,1 % menjadi 4,3%. Secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap total produk cacat di section material 1 dari target yang ditetapkan manajemen sebesar 5%.
