Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationship between smartphone addiction and academic procrastination. This research is a quantitative study using purposive sampling techniques. Respondents in this study were 110 people. Participants in this study were students who were in the 9th to 12th semester of the study period. The smartphone addiction measure used adapted from Kwon in 2013 and academic procrastination was adapted from Dede Suprihatin Kunaedi's research in 2015. The results showed a significant relationship between addiction smartphone with student academic procrastination with a Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient value of 0.291 and a significance value of 0.002 (p <0.05). The relationship that occurs is a positive relationship which shows that the higher smartphone addiction, the higher the level of behavior of student academic procrastination and vice versa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Adiksi Smartphone dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 110 orang. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berada pada masa studi semester 9 sampai dengan semester 14. Alat ukur adiksi smartphone yang digunakan diadaptasi dari Kwon tahun 2013 dan prokrastinasi akademik diadaptasi dari penelitian Dede Suprihatin Kunaedi tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara adiksi smartphone dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dengan nilai koefisien korelasi Pearson Product Moment sebesar 0.291 dan nilai signifikansi 0.002 (p< 0.05). Hubungan yang terjadi merupakan hubungan yang positif yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi adiksi smartphone maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat perilaku prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dan juga sebaliknya
