Abstract

Comfort and safety are the keys to work in every job, especially in the manufacturing sector, if these aspects can be realized then the potential risk of work accidents can be reduced. This study aims to see whether in line assembly the operator's work posture has the potential for muscle injury and to provide recommendations for improvement in the form of work aids in line assembly. In the study of work posture using the ergonomics assessment method with the NBM questionnaire and the BRIEF Survey. Ergonomics applied to the work environment is intended to provide a sense of comfort and safety for workers when carrying out the work process. In the results of filling out the NBM questionnaire, the highest complaints were felt on the shoulders with a percentage of 56%, then on the hips and knees with a percentage of 64% included in the pain criteria. For the BRIEF Survey method in the squatting position, the average result is 2.5 and enters the medium, which means that corrective action is needed. Recommendations for improvements to the line assembly with the addition of a hydraulic table aid with the original squatting position then standing up and after re-analysis with a new body posture the final average result is 1.5 and is included in the low criteria. Kenyamanan dan keselamatan menjadi kunci kerja disetiap pekerjaan terutama pada bidang manufaktur, apabila aspek tersebut dapat terwujud maka potensi resiko kecelakaan kerja dapat berkurang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat apakah di line assembly postur kerja operator memiliki potensi cedera otot dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa alat bantu kerja di line assembly. Dalam penelitian postur kerja menggunakan metode penilian ergonomi dengan kuisoner NBM dan BRIEF Survey. Ergonomi diaplikasikan pada lingkungan pekerjaan dimaksudkan untuk memberikan rasa nyaman dan aman terhadap pekerja saat melakukan proses pekerjaan. Pada hasil pengisian kuisoner NBM keluhan tertinggi dirasakan pada bahu dengan persentase sebesar 56%, kemudian pada pinggul dan lutut dengan presentase 64% termasuk kedalam kritetia sakit. Untuk metode BRIEF Survey pada posisi jongkok memeproleh hasil rata-rata 2,5 dan masuk kedalam medium yang artinya perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan. Rekomendasi perbaikan pada line assembly dengan penambahan alat bantu meja hidrolik dengan semula posisi jongkok kemudian menjadi berdiri dan setelah dilakukan analisa ulang dengan postur tubuh yang baru hasil akhir rata-rata menjadi 1,5 dan masuk kedalam kriteria low.
