Abstract

In the current development of network technology, the need for data exchange is getting higher. This is done as an effort by developing connections on a local network using LAN or wi-fi so that they can be configured with each other. IoT (Internet of Thing) is a concept that aims to expand the benefits of continuously connected internet connectivity. In terms of mass measurement, it is usually done manually by using manual scales. Based on the results of the explanation above, an electronic weighing device was designed using the NodeMCU V3 ESP8266 microcontroller as a controller and device to take advantage of the IoT system using a load cell as the main sensor. When the tool detects a load, the sensor will automatically read and send a signal to the microcontroller, which then displays the weight of an object on the website. From the test results the tool is able to measure the load with a maximum load of 20Kg. Keywords: IoT system, Website, Loadcell, NodeMCU V3 ESP8266. Pada perkembangan teknologi jaringan saat ini, maka kebutuhan akan pertukaran data semakin tinggi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk salah satu upaya dengan cara mengembangkan koneksi pada jaringan lokal menggunakan LAN maupun wi-fi untuk dapat terkonfigurasi satu sama lain. IoT (Internet of Thing) merupakan sebuah konsep yang bertujuan untuk memperluas manfaat dari konektivitas internet yang tersambung secara terusmenerus. Dalam hal pengukuran massa biasanya dilakukan secara manual yaitu dengan menggunakan timbangan manual. Berdasarkan dari hasil penjelasan diatas, maka dirancanglah suatu alat timbangan elektronik menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU V3 ESP8266 sebagai pengendali dan device untuk memanfaatkan sistem IoT dengan menggunakana load cell sebagai sensor utama. Pada saat alat mendeteksi adanya beban, maka secara otomatis sensor akan membaca dan mengirimkan sinyal ke mikrokontroler yang kemudian berat suatu benda akan ditampilkan oleh melalui website. Dari hasil pengujian alat mampu mengukur beban dengan beban maksimum 20Kg. Kata kunci: Website, NodeMCU V3 ESP8266, Loadcell, Sistem IoT.
