Abstract

Temperature and relative humidity data loggers are devices commonly found in rooms that require environmental monitoring. The specifications of these devices depend on the users' needs. Based on Engineering Instruction issued by PT. GMF AeroAsia number TCA-1620, the company requires a data logger capable of monitoring the environment to maintain the temperature between 15-30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity below or equal to 85%. Additionally, the data logger needs to be compatible with the Modbus TCP/IP Protocol for monitoring several locations. It should also be calibrated at the PT. GMF AeroAsia Calibration Laboratory using linear regression calculations. For the design of this data logger, the ATMega 2560 is used as the microcontroller, the DHT22 sensor for measuring temperature and relative humidity, the RTC DS3231 as a high-precision clock, the TFT LCD Shield for displaying measured data informatively, and a buzzer as an indicator for abnormal temperature and relative humidity conditions. The calibration of the data logger is performed using certified measuring instruments accredited by Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN). The calibration results will undergo adjustment with linear regression calculations to minimize sensor error and maintain linearity. After several tests and sensor adjustments, it was found that data logger #1 has a temperature accuracy of 99.29754% and a relative humidity accuracy of 97.60381%. Data logger #2 has a temperature accuracy of 99.55964% and a relative humidity accuracy of 93.69581%. Meanwhile, data logger #3 has a temperature accuracy of 98.36374% and a relative humidity accuracy of 98.15376%. All three data loggers have their RTC DS3231 output frequency measured and found to be within the specified frequency limit of 32.768 kHz with a tolerance of 0.0005%. Keywords : Temperature and Relative Humidity Data Logger, ATMega 2560, Modbus TCP/IP, Sensor Calibration, RTC DS3231, and Linier Regression Data logger suhu dan kelembapan merupakan alat yang sering kita jumpai pada ruangan yang memerlukan pemantauan kondisi lingkungan, spesifikasi alat tersebut tergantung pada kebutuhan dari penggunaan alat. Berdasarkan Engineering Instruction yang diterbitkan oleh PT. GMF AeroAsia nomor TCA1620, perusahaan membutuhkan data logger yang dapat memantau lingkungan agar suhu tetap pada 15-30 Celcius dan kelembapan kurang dari sama dengan 85%. Selain itu data logger diperlukan untuk pemantauan beberapa tempat dengan menggunakan Protokol Modbus TCP/IP dan dapat dikalibrasi pada Laboratorium Kalibrasi PT. GMF AeroAsia yang menggunakan perhitungan regresi linier. Pada perancangan data logger ini menggunakan ATMega 2560 sebagai mikrontroler, Sensor DHT22 sebagai sensor suhu dan kelembapan, RTC DS3231 sebagai clock dengan presisi yang tinggi, LCD TFT Shield untuk menampilkan data terukur secara informatif, serta buzzer sebagai indikator ketidaknormalan suhu dan kelembapan. Data logger dikalibrasi menggunakan alat ukur yang sudah tersertifikasi oleh Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN), hasil kalibrasi tersebut akan dilakukan adjustment dengan perhitungan regresi linier untuk memperkecil nilai error sensor agar menjaga sensor tetap linier. Setelah dilakukan beberapa kali pengujian dan pengaturan sensor, didapatkan bahwa data logger #1 memiliki keakurasian suhu sebesar 99,29754% dan kelembapan sebesar 97,60381%. Data logger #2 memiliki keakurasian suhu sebesar 99,55964% dan kelembapan sebesar 93,69581%. Data logger #3 memiliki keakurasian suhu sebesar 98,36374% dan kelembapan sebesar 98,15376%. Dari ketiga data logger tersebut, nilai frekuensi output pada RTC DS3231 yang telah diukur masih sesuai dengan batas frekuensi yaitu sebesar 32,768 kHz dengan toleransi 0,0005%.
