Abstract

In the world of transportation, there are three modes of transportation, namely land transportation, sea transportation, and air transportation. Today's transportation technology continues to experience development in terms of effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with human needs. Soekarno-Hatta Airport is one of the largest airports in Indonesia and historically is the main airport in Indonesia. As a manager of air services for both domestic and international flights, Soekarno-Hatta Airport is always required to improve services to users of airport services. One of the equipment to support services is the public address system, which is an equipment used to provide information on departures, arrivals, delays and voice appeals to passengers. This is expected to produce quality and highly competitive products and services so as to increase the Company's value and public trust. With an increase in the number of existing flights, the number of passengers at the airport will increase, causing a high noise level. The noise in question is the sound of passengers, the activities of airport service users, and activities in the terminal 1 area of the airport causing the sound output of the Public Address System (PAS) to be very less than optimal. After the testing process, it can be concluded that the average increase in sound output is 2.38 dB. And the farther the Noise sensor distance is from the sensor distance, the farther the Noise sensor response distance from objects in the form of sound movements is produced. Di dunia transportasi ada tiga moda transportasi, yaitu transportasi darat, transportasi laut, dan transportasi udara. Teknologi transportasi saat ini terus mengalami perkembangan dalam segi efektivitas dan efisien sesuai dengan kebutuhan manusia. Bandara Soekarno-Hatta merupakan salah satu Bandara terbesar di Indonesia dan menurut sejarahnya merupakan Bandara utama di Indonesia. Sebagai pengelola jasa pelayanan udara baik penerbangan domestik dan internasional Bandara soekarno-hatta selalu dituntut meningkatkan pelayanan kepada pengguna jasa bandar udara. Salah satu peralatan untuk menunjang pelayanan adalah public address system, yaitu sebuah peralatan yang digunakan untuk memberikan informasi keberangkatan, kedatangan, keterlambatan dan himbauan berupa suara kepada penumpang. Hal tersebut diharapkan agar dapat menghasilkan produk dan layanan jasa yang bermutu tinggi dan berdaya saing kuat sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai Perusahaan dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Dengan bertambahnya jumlah penerbangan yang ada dapat menyebabkan jumlah penumpang di Bandar Udara meningkat, sehingga menyebabkan tingkat kebisingan yang tinggi. Kebisingan yang dimaksud adalah suara para penumpang, aktivitas para pengguna jasa bandar udara, dan kegiatan di area bandara terminal 1 menyebabkan keluaran suara Public Address System (PAS) menjadi sangat kurang optimal. Setelah dilakukan proses pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kenaikan output suara adalah 80,9 dB. Dan semakin dekat jarak sensor Noise terhadap suara, maka semakin tinggi nilai dB yang dihasilkan. Kata kunci : Public Address System, Arduino, Nano, Sensor Noise, power amplifier, otomatis, digital potensiometer.
