Abstract

Technological developments cannot be separated from the energy sources used. For example, almost all motorized vehicles in the world use fuel oil or commonly referred to as BBM. Generator is an electric tool that produces electric power, the working principle of the generator uses electromagnetic induction. The number of RPM generated by the generator is directly proportional to the voltage and current generated. The use of variations in pulley sizes can affect the rotational speed of the generator. In an experiment that was carried out using a 2 -8 inch pulley, which was installed in various ways to determine the voltage and current produced by the generator, 3 different loads were given and the current flowing through the conductor was calculated. From the experiment with load 1 a pilot lamp, the generator was able to produce a minimum voltage of 4.74 volts and a highest of 29.9 volts with an average current of 0.02 A. In experiment 2 with a load of 2 pilot lamps, the generator was able to produce a minimum voltage of 4.74 volts and a highest of 29.9 volts, with an average current of 0.06 A. In experiment 3 the generator experienced a voltage drop to 4.8 volts, the generator Rpm dropped and was able to produce a current of 0.32 A to 0.82 A .
