Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the type of parental career-related behaviors on the career maturity of class XI high school students in DKI Jakarta. The number of samples in this study 213 high school students obtained using the power analysis G * Power application. The measuring instrument used is a career maturity measurement tool adapted by Ayu Rahmawati Prastiwi (2006) based on the Super theory developed by Watkins & Campbell (2000) and Dietrich & Kracke (2009) Parental Career Behaviors (PCB) measurement tool. The results of multiple regression analysis show that Parental career-related behaviors support, interference, and lack of engagement simultaneously affect the career maturity of high school students with a value of F (3, 209) = 14.699, P <0.05 with a contribution of 17, 4%. Then parental behavior that most influences the career maturity of high school students is in the parental career-related behaviors support with a value of 4.294> 1.651 sig 0.000 <0.05, which means that supportive parental behavior has a positive influence on career maturity. And parental career-related behaviors lack of engagement with a value of -2.338> 1.651 sig 0.020 <0.05, which means that less involved parental behavior has negative effect on career maturity.
