Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of Firm Size, Current Ratio (CR) and Primary Ratio (PR) to Net Profit Margin (NPM). The object of this research is the companies of mining industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. This research used a causal research design and the sample selection technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out by panel data regression analysis method. Data processing in this study uses program Eviews 9. The results of this research is indicate that the independent variables firm size and Current Ratio (CR) doesn’t have a significant effect on the Net Profit Margin (NPM),while the Primary Ratio (PR) have a significant effect on Net Profit Margin (NPM) in the mining industries listed in Indonesia stock exchange. Keywords: Firm Size, Current Ratio (CR), Primary Ratio (PR), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Current Ratio (CR) dan Primary Ratio (PR) terhadap Net Profit Margin (NPM). Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan industri pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012-2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kausal dan teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis regresi data panel. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan program Eviews 9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen Ukuran Perusahaan dan Current Ratio (CR) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Net Profit Margin (NPM), sementara Primary Ratio (PR) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Net Profit Margin (NPM) pada industri pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kata kunci: Ukuran Perusahaan, Current Ratio (CR), Primary Ratio (PR), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM).
