Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of good corporate governance on firm value with financial performance as an mediating variable. Good corporate governance in this study uses indicators of institutional ownership and financial performance using the ROA (Return On Asset) indicator. The company's population is 16 companies that go public the plantation sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange obtained 8 sample companies that meet the requirements. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression to determine the magnitude of influence, and path analysis to determine the contribution shown by the path coefficient on each path diagram. The results of the analysis show that good corporate governance and ROA (Return On Asset) both simultaneously and partially affect the value of the company. It can be concluded that ROA (Return On Asset) is proven as an mediating variable. Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Financial Performance, Firm Value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh good corporate governance terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel mediasi. Good corporate governance dalam penelitian ini menggunakan indikator kepemilikan institusional dan kinerja keuangan menggunakan indikator ROA (Return On Asset). Populasi perusahaan adalah 16 perusahaan go public sub sektor perkebunan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia diperoleh 8 perusahaan sampel yang memenuhi syarat. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh, serta analisis jalur (Path Analysis) untuk mengetahui kontribusi yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien jalur pada setiap diagram jalur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa good corporate governance dan ROA (Return On asset) baik secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ROA (Return On asset) terbukti sebagai variabel mediasi. Kata kunci: Good Corporate Governance, Kinerja Keuangan, Nilai Perusahaan.
