Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of representativeness bias, overconfidence, and greed bias on the investment decisions of the Millennial generation in Jakarta in 2023. Population in this research is 4.536.391 investor in Jakarta. The sampel used is 100 investors, calculated based on Slovin formula. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sample with adjustment sample. The Methods of data collection using field research, with the research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis method using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The first step in this study was to test the validity of each question raised with its reliability. The second stage determines the relationship between representativeness, overconfidence bias and greed bias over investment decisions. The results of this study state that the repsentativeness has no effect on investment decisions. And overconfidence bias and greed bias of positive and significant towards investment decisions. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh representativeness bias, overconfidence dan greed bias terhadap keputusan berinvestasi generasi milenial di Jakarta tahun 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 4.536.391 investor di Jakarta. Sampel yang dipergunakan adalah sebanyak 100 investor, dihitung berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sample dengan metode adjustment sample. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengumpulan data penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode dari SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Tahap pertama dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji validitas pertanyaan setiap variabel berikut dengan reliabiulitasnya. Tahap kedua menguji hubungan anatara representativeness bias, overconfidence dan greed bias terhadap keputusan berinvestasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel representativeness bias tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi. Dan variabel overconfidence dan greed bias berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap keputusan investasi.
