Abstract

Shallot plants are currently widely cultivated, but cultivation is still done manually to control soil conditions. For this reason, with a monitoring system using the NPKTHCPH-S sensor, which can show 7 parameters of soil conditions using only 1 sensor, it is hoped that it will make it easier to see the appropriate soil content and required shallot plants according to the criteria for good shallot plant growth, so that plant growth shallots become more optimal and avoid crop failure. The smart farming monitoring system prototype uses the NPKTHCPH-S sensor, which was developed using the Blynk application by implementing several components such as the NPKTHCPH-S sensor, ESP32, Relay 3.3, and RS485-TTL Converter. The NPKTHCPH-S sensor is a reader of soil water content, electrical conductivity, temperature, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and pH in shallot soil. The results obtained in the NPKTHCPH-S sensor test were the most significant, seen at 14.00, with a temperature value of 35.6oC and a humidity of 50.7%. And at 23.00, it was found that the temperature value of 28.4oC with a humidity of 58.6%. The N,P, and K values were constant for 9 hours of testing, namely, N was 170mg/kg, P was 439mg/k, K was 434mg/k, and conductivity was 1000 uS/cm. Tanaman bawang merah saat ini banyak dibudidayakan, namun budidaya nya masih dilakukan secara manual untuk mengontrol kondisi tanah. Untuk itu, dengan adanya sistem monitoring menggunakan sensor NPKTHCPH-S yang dapat menunjukkan 7 parameter kondisi tanah hanya menggunakan 1 sensor diharapkan dapat memudahkan dalam melihat kandungan tanah yang sesuai dan dibutuhkan tanaman bawang merah sesuai dengan kriteria pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah yang baik, sehingga pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah menjadi lebih optimal dan terhindar dari kegagalan panen. Prototipe sistem monitoring smart farming menggunakan sensor NPKTHCPH-S yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan aplikasi Blynk dengan mengimplementasikan beberapa komponen seperti sensor NPKTHCPH-S, ESP32, Relay 3.3, RS485-TTL Converter. Sensor NPKTHCPH-S sebagai pembaca kadar air tanah, konduktivitas listrik, suhu, nitrogen, fosfor, kalium, dan pH pada tanah tanaman bawang merah. Hasil yang didapatkan pada pengujian sensor NPKTHCPH-S yaitu paling signifikan terlihat pukul 14.00 didapati nilai suhu (temperature) 35.6oC dengan kelembaban (humidity) 50.7%. Dan pada pukul 23.00 didapati nilai suhu (temperature) 28.4 oC dengan kelembaban (humidity) 58.6%. Untuk nilai N,P,K, dan Conductivity konstan selama 9 jam pengujian yaitu untuk N adalah 170mg/kg, untuk P adalah 439mg/k, untuk K adalah 434mg/k, dan conductivity adalah 1000uS/cm.
