Abstract

In determining the type of disease and the severity of the disease required accuracy in making a diagnosis, especially kidney disease. This is because the diagnosis has an effect on explaining the clinical symptoms and signs experienced by a patient, and distinguishing them from other similar conditions. The purpose of this research is to produce systems and applications to support the diagnosis of kidney disease severity by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The variable to be studied is the severity scale of kidney disease symptoms. The variable to be studied is the level of severity of kidney disease symptoms. The number of samples obtained consisted of five criteria for the stage of kidney disease and sixteen alternative symptoms of kidney disease. The sampling technique in this paper was in the form of surveys and direct interviews with doctors. The method used in this research is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results obtained in the form of a scale of severity of symptoms suffered by the patient. The conclusion isthat the decision supportsystem can help users such as doctors and the general public in understanding the severity of kidney disease that is being suffered by the patients.
