Abstract
Nowadays, technology in the medical field is very diverse and developing rapidly, so it is widely used in treating both mild and severe diseases. One of the serious diseases that many people suffer from is stroke. As an effort to utilize technology in treating stroke, this study utilizes the SVM algorithm and Decision Tree in a dataset that contains columns and the history of people who have and did not suffer from strokes. To then create a website application to predict whether people have the potential to suffer a stroke or not and also to find out the best algorithm based on this process. From the results of the implementation, an application has been built to implement the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree (DT) algorithms in a dataset containing ten parameters that will become attributes of the model. In comparing precision, recall, and accuracy, the Decision Tree algorithm is superior to the SVM algorithm, with a Decision % accuracy value of 89.51%, while SVM has 83.99%. That way, the Decision Tree was chosen to be the algorithm used on the stroke prediction website, which was built using a Python library, namely streamlit Keywords : SVM, Decision Tree, Prediction, Streamlit, Web Saat ini, teknologi dalam bidang medis sangat beragam dan berkembang pesat sehingga banyak digunakan dalam menangani penyakit baik itu yang tingkatnya ringan dan juga berat.
