Abstract

The Government of Jakarta is trying to reduce the traffic volume by launching many new rail-based public transportation modes in this Jakarta Capital Region, one of them is Jakarta LRT. There are so many special things at the LRT Velodrome Station, for example the strategic location of Velodrome, the Jakarta International Velodrome stadium, integrated with Transjakarta transportation mode, etc. Even though the Jakarta LRT is the new transportation mode, but the Jakarta LRT only used by few people, because the route is still too short only 5,6 km (Pengangsaan Dua to Velodrome). So, this research discuss about the preference of passengers in using Jakarta LRT as the option for their daily transportation. The analysis of data obtained in this research by using the “Importance Performance Analysis” method, and analyzed the validity and reliability by using SPSS program. The results of this research, based on people’s preferences by using Jakarta LRT are located in quadrant II that have a good performance on passengers satisfaction, so the performance must be maintained, the items are the condition of Jakarta LRT train, the train facilities, the interior and exterior appearance of Velodrome station, the timeliness of the train journey, the cleanliness and tidiness of the train, the priority for passengers with special needs, also the cleanliness and tidiness of the LRT officer at the Velodrome station. Meanwhile there are several items that needs to be improved for the efficiency and effectiveness are located in quadrant I that requires the high priority on its performance, the items are the safety facilities on the train, easy to see the exit sign and the sign board of the integration for other public transportation modes, the friendly staff at the Velodrome station, the readiness of officers who are ready to help the passengers in Velodrome station, the ability of the officers at the LRT train to help the passengers, also the knowledge and abilities of the Jakarta LRT officers at the Velodrome station. Keywords: Jakarta LRT, Preference, Importance Performance Analysis, Railway Pemerintah kota Jakarta sedang mencoba mengurangi tingkat kemacetan dengan membuat moda transportasi baru berbasis rel, salah satunya adalah LRT Jakarta. Di LRT Jakarta, banyak hal menarik khususnya di stasiun Velodrome, contohnya dalah lokasi stasiun Velodrome yang strategis, terdapatnya stadion Jakarta International Velodrome, terintegrasi dengan moda transportasi Transjakarta, dan sebagainya. Walaupun LRT Jakarta adalah termasuk moda transportasi baru, namun hanya beberapa orang yang menggunakan LRT Jakarta, karena rute perjalanan yang masih relative pendek yaitu hanya 5,8 km (Pegangsaan Dua – Velodrome). Maka, penelitian ini membahas tentang preferensi penumpang dalam menggunakan LRT Jakarta sebagai pilihan transportasi dalam kesehariannya. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode “Importance Performance Analysis”, serta uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian yang menjadi preferensi masyarakat dalam menggunakan LRT Jakarta terletak pada kuadran II yaitu aspek yang memiliki kinerja baik terhadap kepuasan penumpang pengguna LRT Jakarta sehingga patut untuk dipertahankan, diantaranya adalah kondisi kereta LRT, kelengkapan fasilitas kereta, tampilan interior dan eksterior stasiun Velodrome, ketepatan waktu perjalanan, kerapihan dan kebersihan kereta, prioritas terhadap penumpang berkebutuhan khusus, serta kebersihan dan kerapian petugas di stasiun Velodrome. Serta pada kuadran I yaitu terdapat aspek yang harus ditingkatkan kinerjanya, diantaranya adalah kelengkapan fasilitas keamanan di dalam kereta, papan petunjuk angkutan lanjutan dan tanda pintu keluar yang mudah terlihat pada stasiun Velodrome, keramahan petugas di stasiun Velodrome, kesiapan petugas stasiun Velodrome dalam membantu penumpang, kemampuan petugas di kereta LRT dalam melayani penumpang, dan pengetahuan dan kemampuan petugas LRT Jakarta di stasiun Velodrome.
