Abstract

Signaling intersection Raden Fatah road is an intersection that serves traffic from Tangerang to South Tangerang and Jakarta. The area around the signal intersection consists of commercial, educational and office areas. The problem at this intersection can be seen from the long queues of vehicles at each of the intersection arms, so on this basis a study was conducted aimed at analyzing the performance of the existing intersections and road sections. The data used include primary data and secondary data. Primary data consist of traffic volume, intersection geometry, signal and land use, while secondary data consist of population data to determine the correction factor for city size. The traffic volume survey was carried out for 3 days namely on Monday 18 November 2019, Wednesday 20 November 2019 and Saturday 23 November 2019 with data collection carried out for 2 hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. Analysis of the performance of signalized intersections is based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (Ministry of Public Works, 1997). The results of the performance of the existing largest intersection delay occurred at the peak hours of the afternoon Saturday 23 November 2019 with an average intersection delay of 61,21 seconds / pcu with F service level, it is necessary to make alternative arrangements for the intersection of Jalan Raden Fatah. Alternative solutions are carried out by reducing the phase from 3 phases to 2 phases, from these alternatives obtained a delay of 19,42 seconds / pcu with level of service C. The results of the performance of Raden Fatah road (North) section with the greatest degree of saturation 0.515 with level of service C and Raden Fatah road (South) the highest degree of saturation is 0.501 with the level of service C. From the results of the analysis suggested alternative solutions to be realized because they get the best service level results. The use of alternative solutions is safer for drivers because the type of approach used is protected. By using this type of protected approach (protected), the level of safety for motorists is much safer. Keywords: signal intersection, road segment, intersection phase, performance Simpang bersinyal Jalan Raden Fatah merupakan simpang yang melayani lalu-lintas dari Tangerang menuju Tangerang Selatan dan Jakarta. Daerah sekitar simpang bersinyal terdiri dari daerah komersial, pendidikan dan perkantoran. Permasalahan pada simpang ini terlihat dari adanya antrian kendaraan yang panjang pada masing-masing lengan simpang, maka atas dasar ini dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja simpang eksisting dan ruas jalan tersebut. Data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer terdiri dari volume lalu lintas, geometri persimpangan, sinyal dan tata guna lahan, sedangkan data sekunder terdiri dari data jumlah penduduk untuk menentukan faktor koreksi ukuran kota. Survei volume lalu lintas dilakukan selama 3 hari yaitu pada Senin 18 Nopember 2019, Rabu 20 Nopember 2019 dan Sabtu 23 Nopember 2019 dengan pengambilan data dilakukan selama 2 jam pada pagi, siang dan sore hari. Analisis kinerja simpang bersinyal dilakukan berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (Departemen Pekerjaan Umum, 1997). Dari hasil kinerja simpang eksisting tundaan terbesar terjadi pada jam puncak sore Sabtu 23 nopember 2019 dengan tundaan simpang rata-rata 61,21detik/smp dengan tingkat pelayanan F, maka perlu dilakukan alternatif pengaturan simpang Jalan Raden Fatah. Alternatif solusi yang dilakukan dengan mengurangi fase dari 3 fase menjadi 2 fase, dari alternatif tersebut didapatkan tundaan sebesar 19,42 detik/smp dengan tingkat pelayanan C. Hasil kinerja ruas Jalan Raden Fatah (Utara) dengan derajat kejenuhan terbesar 0,515 dengan tingkat pelayanan C dan Jalan Raden Fatah (Selatan) derajat kejenuhan terbesar 0,501 dengan tingkat pelayanan C. Dari hasil analisis tersebut disarankan alternative solusi untuk direalisasikan karena mendapatkan hasil tingkat pelayanan terbaik. Penggunaan alternative solusi ini lebih aman untuk pengendara karena tipe pendekat yang digunakan adalah terlindung (protected). Dengan menggunakan tipe pendekat terlindung (protected) ini, tingkat keselamatan bagi pengendara jauh lebih aman. Kata kunci : simpang bersinyal, ruas jalan, fase simpang, kinerja
