Abstract
In the era of increasingly rapid industrial development, various service companies, as well as manufacturers, always develop existing systems, in order to face increasingly fierce business competition. PT. Golden Axes is one of the growing manufacturers of wooden frame manufacturing in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. PT. Golden Axes has a constraint where the fluctuating amount of demand has an impact on the difficulty of owners estimating and controlling inventory to meet production needs, which results in determining the optimal amount of inventory stock and the amount of stock reserves in the warehouse will be very difficult, if the amount of demand is uncertain, it will cause a situation where the company experiences excess inventory or lack of inventory. The inventory system carried out at PT. Golden Axes are still conventional or non-standard, in the sense that the determination of the amount of inventory and inventory reserves (safety stock) is only determined by estimates. Based on information in the field, when the company experiences a shortage of inventory, the owner will make a sudden purchase of raw materials which causes additional costs for storage and expedition. As for the amount of data obtained, there are 20% of stockout inventory in the sense that the use of conventional methods is considered to still require updating, thus the author tries to analyze by finding the right method compared to the method that has been applied using the Continuous Review System ( Q) and Periodic Review System (P) methods Keywords : Stock Inventory, Stick Wooden Frame, Continuous Review System (Q), Periodic Review System (P) Di era perkembangan industri yang semakin pesat berbagai perusahaan jasa, maupun manufaktur selalu mengembangkan sistem yang ada, guna menghadapi persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat.PT. Golden Axes merupakan salah satu produsen pembuatan kerangka bingkai kayu yang sedang berkembang di Kabupaten Lebak Provinsi Banten.PT.Golden Axes memiliki kendala di mana jumlah permintaan yang berfluktuasi berdampak pada kesulitan pemilik memperkirakan dan mengendalikan persediaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi, yang berakibat penentuan jumlah stok persediaan yang optimal dan jumlah cadangan stok di gudang akan sangat sulit, apabila jumlah permintaan tidak kelebihan persediaan maupun kekurangan persediaan. Adapun sistem persediaan yang dilakukan pada PT. Golden Axes masih dengan cara konvensional atau tidak baku, dalam artian penentuan jumlah persediaan dan cadangan persediaan (safety stock) hanya ditentukan dengan perkiraan. Berdasarkan informasi dilapangan, ketika perusahaan mengalami kekurangan persediaan pemilik akan melakukan pembeliaan bahan baku secara mendadak yang menimbulkan penambahan biaya pada penyimpanan dan ekspedisi. Adapun jumlah data yang diperoleh terdapat 20 % persediaan stockout dalam artiaan penggunaan metode konvensional dianggap masih memerlukan pembaharuan, dengan demikian penulis mencoba menganalisis dengan mencari metode yang tepat dibanding metode yang telah diterapkan dengan menggunakan metode Continous Review System (Q) dan Periodic Review System (P) Kata Kunci : Stok Persediaan, Stick Bingkai Kayu, Continous Review System (Q), Periodic Review System (P)
