Abstract

Pegawai sebagai bagian dari Sumber daya manusia (SDM) disebut aset yang memegang peranan paling penting dalam mencapai tujuan suatu perusahaan. Pegawai adalah aset yang dimiliki oleh suatu organisasi atau perusahaan, banyak penelitian menyebutkan bahwa dengan memberikan mutasi dan kompensasi, pegawai akan mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan oleh organisasi dan akan dapat memberikan hasil yang efektif serta performa yang optimal. Sehingga perlu ada penilaian terhadap pengaruh mutasi, kompensasi, promosi terhadap motivasi pegawai saat bekerja. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini akan membahas tentang pengaruh mutasi, upah dan promosi terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai Kementerian Keuangan di Jakarta. Dengan melakukan penelitian dari beberapa literatur dan penelitian sebelumnya, penulis mendapatkan hipotesa yakni mutasi, kompensasi dan promosi sebagai variabel independen, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi pegawai. Berangkat dari hipotesa tersebut, dengan menggunakan model metode kuantitatif, data penelitian dihasilkan dari survei terhadap 165 responden. Survei dilakukan terbatas pada pegawai Kementerian Keuangan yang ditempatkan di Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasil analisa didapatkan hanya variabel kompensasi dan mutasi yang mempengaruhi signifikasi dari motivasi pegawai, dimana hal lainnya adalah promosi berpengaruh positif atas terjadinya peristiwa turnover intention pegawai. Dengan hasil dua variabel yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, penulis memberikan saran yang diharapkan menjadi perbaikan bagi pelaksanaan pola mutasi dan pemberian kompensasi. Employees as part of Human Resources (HR) are called assets that play the most important role in achieving the goals of an institution. Employees are assets owned by an organization or institution, and many studies state that by providing mutations and compensation, employees will achieve the goals set by the organization and will be able to provide effective results and optimal performance. Therefore, there needs to be an assessment of the effect of mutation, compensation, and promotion on employee motivation at work in the Ministry of Finance Jakarta. By looking research from several literatures and previous studies, the authors obtained a hypothesis such as mutation, compensation and promotion as independent variables, the result are the variables have positive and significant effect on employees’ motivation. Using a quantitative method, the research data was generated from a survey of 165 respondents. The survey was conducted in Ministry of Finance employees worked in Jakarta. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that only the compensation and mutation variables affected the significance of employees’ motivation, where the other thing was that promotion had a positive effect on the occurrence of employee turnover intention. With the result, there are two variables that have a positive and significant effect, the authors suggested that are expected to be improvements for the implementation of mutation patterns and compensation
